On June 1, 2014, the Kings beat the Chicago Blackhawks, 5-4, in Game 7 of the Western Conference Final. Alec Martinez scored the game-winning goal in overtime, and the Kings became the first team in NHL playoff history to win three Game 7s on the road.

On May 29, 1993, Wayne Gretzky led the Kings to their first Campbell Conference championship, and their first trip to the Stanley Cup Final. Gretzky scored his first playoff hat trick with the Kings in a 5-4 win in Game 7 versus the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Xavier villenueve (lane Hudson lite?)

Maksim Sokolovskii (huge 6’9 defenseman who is crazy physical and a pretty fluid skater for his size

Looking at the leak from Icethetics and seeing that the Kings could bring back purple, what do you guys think the design will ultimately look like if these jerseys are going to be somewhat like the city connects in the MLB?

On May 22, 2012, the Kings advanced to the Stanley Cup Final for the second time in franchise history. Dustin Penner scored the series clinching goal in a 4-3 overtime win in Game 5 of the Western Conference Final against the Phoenix Coyotes.

They were invited to a game and led the GKG chant on the drum. Very few people knew who they were then or even about the show, so hopefully their presence can be appreciated now that the show is out! And hopefully their presence Kings will have them back again next season.

On May 21, 2014, Jeff Carter tied an NHL record, and set a Kings' playoff record when he recorded four points in the third period of Game 2 of the Western Conference Final. Carter recorded his second career playoff hat trick in a 6-2 win versus Chicago.
