If you have an electric bike and want to make a little money on it DM, me. My wife and I live here in HB Harbor area. Our closest friends are coming to visit with their 14 and 17 yo son and daughter. We want to go on an e-bike ride on July 10 and/or 11th. The rental places are too expensive, especially for 6 bikes for two days. We can afford $80 for each bike for the two days ($40/day)…$480 if you have all 6. If you’re on the fence about dealing with a stranger I’m happy to share my wife and I’s socials or buy a cup of coffee and shake your hand in person before you say yes. We’re just regular neighbors hoping to show our friends a lovely day without breaking the bank.

Outside of 1 Tesla and 1 EA station each, there's not a ton of options in the city proper. Pretty sad

Honest reviews wanted. I'm planning my husband’s 40th birthday for next month and we have about 15 people coming over. I wanted to just book a big table somewhere down by Pacific City or Main Street, but dealing with weekend parking near the pier during summer is an absolute nightmare. I keep seeing videos for those Hibachi At Home services where a private chef brings a flat-top grill to your backyard and does a whole cooking or comedy show. It looks like a fun vibe for a party, but I want to know if the food quality is actually good. please let me know if it's worth the money or if I should just stick to a traditional restaurant reservation.

I'm a recent college grad and have been working on a startup on my own for a few months now, and it can sometimes be hard to consistently show up on time when its only me.

Whereas when I had a job with other people expecting me, it wasn't even a question of showing up everyday, I just did.

I was wondering if anyone else is looking for some accountability and wants to set a place to work together and keep each other accountable to our work schedules.

I'm aware of coworking spaces, but don't have the money to go to one, and it still also doesn't really fix the accountability issue.

Is it’s still advisable to get to HB before 6 am to reserve a fire pit? I’m doing this Saturday and my friend wants to get there at 10 am. I told him they would all be taken already.

Also are there fire pits all along the state and city beach or just city?

Hi everyone, I just saw a loose dog around Suburbia Ln and Cynthia Dr. It looks like the dog may have recently had surgery because it has something around its head/neck that seems to be blocking its vision. I didn’t see an owner nearby, and I’m worried it could get hit by a car or hide under parked cars. If this is your dog or you know the owner, please check the area as soon as possible.

I live in north HB close to the border of the city, by the industrials / marina HS. I’ve been sleeping with my window open at night, and this morning I woke up with a headache and sore throat, not sure if there’s a sickness going around or if it’s from the chemical spill and the wind? Just wondering if anyone has noticed anything similar in the area

Yesterday afternoon, my friends parked near the restrooms at Huntington State Beach and set up between Lifeguard Towers 5 and 6, closer to the shoreline and directly in front of the snowy plover reserve area (see photo).

At some point during the afternoon, his gold wedding band went missing. We know the odds are tough, but we’re hoping someone with a metal detector may be willing to search the area.

📍 Approximate location:

• Between Towers 5 & 6
• In front of the plover bird reserve
• Near the soft sand towards the shore side of the beach
• Coordinates: 33°38'05.28"N 117°58'01.73"W

💍 Ring description:

• Plain gold wedding band
