World Cup Games

Hello HB! 👋

I'm visiting from overseas for a few weeks and I’m looking for your best recommendations on bars/spots in the area that are properly getting into the World Cup spirit - talking big screens, decent crowds, promos etc

Any local favourites or hidden gems would be much appreciated - cheers! 🙌⚽

(Note: I’ll actually be based closer to Westminster)

This might be the one. I imagine US and Germany games will draw a crowd.. reckon there’ll be many about for the midweek/midday minnow games or would I be better off elsewhere?

Never been to old world i keep seeing things about reserving tickets, and tables costing 200$... can we just show up and get a table at the bar and watch?

Prefacing I’m unaffiliated with Bruno’s just sharing what I’ve seen them planning for World Cup. If you’re looking for something in addition to Old World:

BRUNO’S BAR & GRILL Daily watch parties from June 11 through July 19. They’ll have:

14 TVs a giant drop-down main screen live DJs giveaways line dancing lessons shuffle dance instruction and surprise events throughout the tournament.

HQ Gastropub on PCH has so many TVs you can watch multiple games with a beach view too. Great people and vibe.
