HB is a EV charging desert
Outside of 1 Tesla and 1 EA station each, there's not a ton of options in the city proper. Pretty sad

Yeah. The one across the street from Marina High School only has 3 and every time I drive by they are in use with at least 1 other vehicle waiting.

There is always a line there. I work in that parking lot and there is a line at 630 am

There are several EVGO chargers and some EA chargers at Brookhurst and Adams.

Have you seen the amount of lifted F250 pavement princesses there are around here? Definitely a demographic problem

Its that the people who can afford to live in HB and own an EV, will have at home lvl 2 charging and little use for lvl 3 charging.

That too, I get free lvl 2 charging at work so I never need any other charging expect on a road trip.

Says there's 101 charging stations in HB. Not sure how many are public vs private, I know a lot of apartment buildings (newer) have chargers, and a bunch of shopping centers have some. Mostly down the "center", west end of HB is pretty dry.

Literally had a guy cut me off by going through 4 lanes on beach cuz he said he had to make it home to charge. I don’t have an EV, but for that reason, we could definitely get rid of a fast food restaurant and put in an extra EV station

6 EA chargers at Target, 4-6 EVgo chargers at Stater Brothers. 24 tesla chargers at warner/goldenwest, 12 tesla chargers at warner and bushard. Ive never really had to wait more than a few minutes at any of them. Plus many poeple just charge at home in the city.
