I saw SP at the Paradise in Boston in 1986. I have a vivid memory of Ogre in shadow behind the sheet, but I could swear he was disemboweling something/someone. I also thought it was mid-set, but that part's fuzzier.

I just watched "Ain't It Dead Yet" and concede that it's possible that I'm conflating various aspects of the show, but does anyone remember seeing what I'm describing?

I had no idea where the sample from Xcrement by Doubting Thomas came from until I watched the recent Paul Reubens documentary on Netflix and they cut to the animated "Balloon Land" featurette from 1935.

I have always had the impression (rightly or wrongly) that SP was essentially cEvin and Dwayne composing the music with Ogre writing lyrics/singing. And for instrumental tracks, I'd always assumed they were just cEvin or cEvin/Dwayne tracks that never got vocals for whatever reason. Maybe Ogre grabbing a dialog sample from a movie occasionally... Is this true? If not, are there some good examples of Ogre doing more, musically? Or on the flip side, does anyone have any evidence of cEvin writing lyrics/singing at all?

I was looking on Amazon at KMFDM singles on vinyl when Tin Omen single came up. I happen to own it, but was curious how much it was going for. I checked on eBay, same price! Anyone else sitting on this little fortune?

Does anyone have stems for Water? I’m looking for one specific sound - it starts around 2:43 and kind of resembles a dental drill. I can recreate something similar, but I’d really like to have the exact original sound, because whenever I listen to the track it feels like there’s an empty space waiting for it. Also, as a fan, having the actual sound from the song would make the track feel much more meaningful to me.

There are two versions of the love song, I know the more accessible more common one ia shorter. Like 2 minutes or something. The other one, which i love much more, is 3 minutes and 48 seconds and I can never find it anywhere. Help! I have lost all my music and that is the one song I can never find. What album ia it on? Ive been looking for 10 years, tried every album discography and everything ​​​

So I've been searching for a video interview I saw for a while now, definitely 80s, where the guys deny doing any drugs/deny endorsing drug use. When I found it a couple years ago I was only searching for their interviews, nothing in specific. Now whatever I search I can't find anything even close and I'm beginning to think I imagined it, thoughts? I'm preeeetty sure it took place in Canada. Edit: it was outdoors, looked to be a early interview, and I believe it was Cevin, super young with an offended hubris to his response. It may have been another band, misattributed to SP, but it seemed to be a one off, short & hardly could be considered an interview, mainstream news channel type of thing. The question about drugs was one of maybe three they were asked, and I recall one of the others being about if they abuse animals, I'd be pissed too!

Hey guys I'm doing a presentation on skinny puppy and what they mean to me & others and I'd love to hear some varied perspectives from the community on what the most meaningful songs are to everyone! The categories I'm going with for now are

I had no reason to believe otherwise but it's always a fucking relief when they turn out to be the person you'd hoped. He was so generous and gracious with his time and clearly wanted people to feel seen. Also he immediately asked about my dog when he saw my phone screen, so 10/10 interaction on that alone. Our picture is me MAD CHEESING but y'all don't wanna see that. Ogre looks great though.

I constantly return to it as it is a banger for me, but I think it should be released on an "proper" album instead of an OST (if I am not missing something). And the Ken Marshal's remix (aka Humble Brothers) notch it up to 11.
