Ogre on instrumental tracks?
I have always had the impression (rightly or wrongly) that SP was essentially cEvin and Dwayne composing the music with Ogre writing lyrics/singing. And for instrumental tracks, I'd always assumed they were just cEvin or cEvin/Dwayne tracks that never got vocals for whatever reason. Maybe Ogre grabbing a dialog sample from a movie occasionally... Is this true? If not, are there some good examples of Ogre doing more, musically? Or on the flip side, does anyone have any evidence of cEvin writing lyrics/singing at all?

Kind of what's already been said here. Ogre may have played an instrument here or there on a track. But he's more of a vocalst lyricist, and anytime he has, was the rare exception. Samples, etc were Dwayne and cEv most of the time.
that said, the live show was all Ogre (even according to cEv, he often doesn't know what the theatrics/visual part of the show will be). The band agrees on a setlist, but costumes, videos, etc. that's all Ogre. Seems cEv preferred to stay out of the way and focus on the music part.

Good question. The only thing I remember is Ogre playing guitar on "Knowhere?" and some horns of similar affects on Back & Forth (original demo)

Cev stated that the only vocals he has on in the SP discography is on The Centre Bullet.

cevin did vocals on a couple b-sides. i think brak talk, and one from vivisectvi maybe? i can’t remember which.
cevin has also said ogre would jam with him early on but that may have ended before even remission was done.
if you’re not a member of cevin’s patreon, it’s worth it just for the deep dives into making the albums

My understanding is that Dwayne and Cevin would write the music, and Ogre would pick and choose which ones to work on. This was a pain point between Dwayne and Ogre when putting together "The Process" iirc
