Hi, my 19-year-old Jura J5 (!!) is starting to act up - meaning the rinse cycle is somewhat stalling and the machine doesn't shut down properly when being turned off.
Same stalling happens when rinsing after turning it on BTW.
Hence my question: would a new brew group resolve this or is it some engine or pump issue?
I made another video showing the inside of the grind tray with three rinse cycles: https://youtube.com/shorts/Wfea6D0W4dw
Thanks for any advice!
I have a Impressa S9 which has been working for his faithfully for over 15 years. Now having a small leak. Just curious if it’s worth sending back for repair or am I just going to have to accept that it is on its last legs and get a new unit? Thanks!

Does anyone have insight into whether Jura would ever consider bringing a sub-$1000 espresso machine to market? Essentially competing with De'Longhi and Breville. Looking for any opinions.
I’m having an issue where the brew unit is leaking water during rinsing cycle at start up and shutoff.
This leak is minimal, but is coming through the side at the brew unit. I have removed the internal side cover, but this is only a temporarily solution.
I replaced all seals and cleaned the whole brew unit, but still this issue persists

Looking at getting into Jura with an E4. Milk based coffee not really of any interest. Concerned about temperature rattling through a few reviews. Totally understand Jura strategy as far as temp goes, understand heating cup, etc. will I be disappointed in temps of espressos and the larger black?

Curious is anyone has observed this type of noise on a Jura machine. It is a vibration type of noise in the area of the pump or the ceramic valve. This is on an E8 made in 2016. The pump does operate without this noise (for example when just filling the system). Video below. You can hear the pump in the background and the vibration noise over top of it. Any thoughts appreciated. You can see I have placed some paper towels due to a small leak, not directly related to the issue (I think).
UPDATE: Sometimes it’s the obvious solution. Replaced the pump, seems to have resolved the issue.
UPDATE #2: Well the pump replacement did not fix the issue. After more head scratching and troubleshooting it turns out it was the Thermoblock Outlet Valve pin. I like to use brass replacement pins, they seem to be higher quality, but for some reason, they can vibrate under the right conditions. I replaced with a typical plastic pin, fixed the issue. For sure, I mean it.

Thanks for adding me to the group.
I have just changed the drip tray micro switch in my E8 and fixed that problem but I could see that this was likely caused by a water leak above the switch so I ran a cycle and discovered two leaks.
The main one is coming through the connection marked RED. A significant amount of water comes out of the two slots.
The smaller leak is marked BLUE on the pipe marked YELLOW.
I will just buy a pre assembled pipe to fix the smaller leak.
I am a little puzzled by the other one. I’m led to believe theres an O ring in there. If there is I have no idea how to get to it or get the old one out. Can anyone advise please? It looks like I could remove the black outlet moulding with the two screws marked GREEN. Would that work? Thanks for your help.

Just curious if anyone has purchased any of the high end Jura’s that are for sale on eBay right now for very low prices. I am seeing Z10’s and Giga 10’s that are supposedly new for around $600. Sellers are generally new, with minimal feedback. To me these listings scream fraud, but, I reported one to eBay and they resolved it with “all good”. These have now been listed for at least a month, claims of units sold on some. Many are 230v but some are also 120v.
Has anyone purchased one of these or know anyone that has and has insight on these?

So I just got the S8 and it’s a beast. Upgraded from the A1 which I loved how the espresso tasted. I do remember that it took me a few weeks before I got the appropriate grind settings dialed in and the right style of whole beans. Now, I’m trying to find the sweet spot for the S8. Does anyone have any recommendations on the grind setting number, coffee, intensity number, and beans used? Would love to hear from the group.

Hi everyone, I bought my F8 second hand, and now is flashing about the filter. I don’t think I have one (see photos). If that’s the case, should I just change the filter setting to “no”?

Hi all. I’ve been doing some research and have narrowed it down to the new S8 model. I find that most retailers only sell the chrome version, which dorsnt really go well in my kitchen. What are the current recommendations for retailers, reseller for this model? I’ve checked a bunch of different places, not a lot of coupons out there that I have found. Would love to hear what you guys think or have found? Thanks!

What do I need to know as a beginner who knows nothing about these machines?
I am coming from having a Nespresso for years.

Was wondering if anyone knows what may have gone wrong with our X8 Model 51444
Coffee is grinding, milk is working but there’s no coffee coming from the spout, the coffeed water just seems to go into the drip try and spouts out of this part in the video.
Gemini keeps saying it’s the Membrane Regulator but I can’t seem to find one for this model.
Also if there are an UK people, could anyone recommend a good repairer.

Hello everyone,
I’m looking for some troubleshooting advice for my Jura C65.
Problem description:
When the machine shuts down, it performs the normal rinse cycle. After the rinse is finished, the brew unit (the spindle / drive screw mechanism) moves downward as expected — but it never seems to reach its end position.
The motor keeps trying to move further down, and the machine cannot properly complete the shutdown process.
It looks like the machine cannot detect the lower end position.
What I already replaced / checked:
- Water pump → replaced (new)
- Magnetic drainage valve → replaced (new)
- Machine otherwise works normally during coffee preparation
- Rinse cycle itself completes, problem only occurs during shutdown positioning
Symptoms:
- Brew unit continues pressing downward
- No clear stop point detected
- Machine does not switch off correctly after rinsing
My questions:
- Is there a known sensor or limit switch responsible for detecting the brew unit end position?
- Could this be related to the encoder, microswitch, or drive gears?
- Is this a common issue on the C-series machines?
Any ideas what component I should check next would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Since last Friday, my Jura ENA 4 has been grinding beans for a much shorter time than usual, resulting in watery coffee. Normally, it would grind for about 5 seconds, but now it stops after just 2 seconds and proceeds to dispense coffee as if nothing is wrong.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is there a simple fix or reset I can try before taking it in for repair?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Hello,
Recently purchased Roobi milk system cleaning powder for Z10, does anyone has experience with their cleaning products? The instructions for the milk cleaning powder said to mix with water, unlike the Z10 Jura tablets. Do I just add the Roobi powder like I did with the Jura tablets? or should I mix like it is instructed, won't then the water (too much) will over flow? As Z10 milk cleaning cycle auto mix water into their tablets. Please share your experience.
Thank you!

I was introduced to Jura coffee makers at a cousin's house recently and started looking into them for my own home. Clearly these are premium machines! In looking around at different outlets online, I saw some listings on eBay that are crazy cheap. The listings are for Giga and J models for like $1400 in the buy-it-now format. That's thousands less than list price.
Does anyone have experience with buying a unit from one of these listings? Is it a scam/fake listing or is it just a crazy deal from someone selling overstock?

So the title sort of conveys the question, now I'll explain what is happening, or rather, not happening. So the other day I was at Costco and they were out of 2% milk. I ended up getting some 1% for me and whole for the kids since anything less than 2% and I just hear complaints about the watered down milk.
I first noticed that with 1% it wasn't frothing as usual with the 2% I normally buy so I topped off the Jura milk cooler with whole milk figuring it'll balance out to something between 1% and 2%. What ever the milk fat content it was, was irrelevant to the frothing issue. I then tried whole milk and the result is the same.
I then removed the frothing parts and soaked them in warm water with the milk cleaning pearls. After a 10 minute soak, I used the brush on the parts I could and tried again. Same thing, no froth. Just warm milk poured in.
I then re-cleaned everything and reassembled so I could just run a rinse cycle to see what was happening because I noticed, after the last milk frothing test and looking closer, that the milk seemed to be coming from places it shouldn't.
After cleaning and using just water it seemed like it was coming from multiple spouts which I didn't think it had and never saw it do before so I removed the silver cap with the clear plastic top. Ran the rinse cycle again and it is plain as day, it starts out from just the black hose the silver piece attaches to but then it starts coming from multiple places.
I then dried everything and made a video of the underside of the dispensing head and it looks to me like water is coming from where the LEDs are. On a side note, I can now see one LED isn't working.
Am I missing something or would you agree with my assessment?

I have a giga 5 that I need some replacement parts. Wanted to see if anyone had any used ones before ordering new from Jura
I need:

My E6 started making these noises when rinsing, sounds like it’s almost struggling to fully rinse. Cause for concern or is this normal?

Help needed. I have an E8 model 15371 that I've been trying to repair.
Rebuilt brew group, drain valve and added new hoses, membrane pump, and drain stepper motor.
The grounds were not getting wet and most of the water went straight to the drain. I can get hot water through the dispenser but that's all. I feel like it's a drain issue, but I don't think there's anything else I can do to the assembly. The video shows the multi valve pressure release venting (or so I think that's what it's doing).
I feel like I am close to having it solved but I'm stuck currently. Any thoughts on what the issue is?
Thanks in advance!
