So, this actually annoyed me for physics reasons. Well, thermodynamics, I guess. Same thing if you apply enough if it, really.

Cooling is an issue in space. No air means minimal radiant heat dispersal. We know the Gundam has two forced air/gas cooling vents on the chest, presumably meaning hot gasses are being forced through them. Having only recently landed from painting outside in a vacuum, in a machine with a nuclear reactor and combustion thrusters, the chest unit of the Gundam, at minimum, should be quite hot and at worst dangerously hot.

Super conductor bullshits. Gundam can operate indefinitely in space, which means the cooling issue is solved in some manner (If I had to guess super conductor bullshit and extreme high efficiency mechanism such that thermal buildup never happens). Which means once it gets into the atmosphere, it probably is quite cool, as besides the normal heat mechanism, you can disipate it through the atmosphere.

Totally agree. It was out of nowhere. All of it. I actually think it was hella weird. Like, the animators weren't even pretending not to be horny. They began the first scene with an uninterrupted shot of Machu's boobs, front and center. Was that really necessary?

Was expecting Nyaa to be voice of reason, now she turned into her rival both on the romantic and gundam level (thats probably the same plane for machu anyway)
So instead of cooling her she just turned up the heat and threw some hot coals on it too

That trio is going to spell disaster if they dont destroy each other first

Shuji is kind of an interesting cookie because he's more vibes than a person, both Machu and Nyaan get something out of their dynamic with him but Machu seems more interested in getting there with him while Nyaan is more self focused and doesn't even consider really working with him through the whole thing (granted he was delirious the whole time). I'm not sure I'd describe her as a romantic rival (though Machu certainly views if that way) but their dynamic is definitely a car crash in slow motion which is strangely more fun to me than if there was a clear good Vs bad answer between the 3 of them.

I actually wonder if both girls are gonna be disappointed when they see what Shuji is actually working towards. Or if they've considered how to achieve that "freedom" without his assistance.

I honestly didn't take the ED too seriously since it's a dance party type thing and those are more focused on being fun than anything else.

To be fair, one of them is flying is Mav's MS, and the other one is flying the vehicle he apparently put a lot of dev time into, so he's getting to relive his favorite thing with his favorite person vicariously.

On the plus side, it means that when the kids finally do need a way to leave Side 6 due to politics/personal issues/etc they've got a mega-fan ready to cart them on their way.

I really thought Nyaan was going to be the token human but she might actually be the most dangerous Newtype in the cast. She's got so much built-up resentment, hormones, and a longing for control over her life and power to take what she wants and now she's got it in a Gundam.

I was expecting a swimsuit fanservice since we saw Machu in it in last week's preview (though Annqi joining her was a surprise), but I didn't expect an underwear scene with Nyaan at all!

I loved Machu's reaction when she saw Nyaan (in only her underwear) joining Shuji lying on the Red Gundam. And even though Machu hesitated a bit, she did the same at the end xD

All of this and everything else that happened in today's episode makes me wonder how Machu, Nyaan, and Shuji's relationship will develop further. It's definitely going to be very interesting.
