Season 2 Never knew about that (?)
I'm reading the diary of Laura Palmer and found this page, honestly I never have thought this about Josie just from watching her in the series. We know how much Truman suffered for Josie in the show, imagine if he knew about this...

Season 1 First time watcher, and Denise means a lot to me
As a trans woman the way that Denise was portrayed was amazing and actually made me emotional.
Having Audrey astounded that there are women who are agents are using Denise as her example made me legitimately tear up. I love that it wasn't treated like a joke.
Was her being played by a cis man the best thing? Nah but it was the 90s, same with how Truman/Hawk react. they're small town dudes in the 90s, so I'm not surprised by their reactions not being as woke or inclusive as Audrey or Coop.
Anyway, new Lynch fan here. Just finished the OG and FWWM and really looking forward to more. Should I watch his other non TP works before the Return?

Meme Just found Phillip Jeffries chillin in a room full of cheese..
Funny enough this was taken in Valley Ford, CA, just a few minute up the road from the town of Bodega (and Bodega Bay (technically a seperate town) where Alfred Hitchcock filmed 'The Birds'

Fire Walk With Me how upsetting is FWWM
i’m sensitive to topics like rape/sexual assault, child abuse, etc and i’ve heard that FWWM is worse in that respect than the show. i’m going to watch the movie regardless i just want to be mentally prepared

Question Why are David Lynch’s contributions to “Twin Peaks” more referenced than Mark Frost’s?
It appears that they co-created and co-wrote the show. Lynch directed episodes, but in the cultural zeitgeist it often seems that Lynch is given sole credit for “Twin Peaks”. I’m just wondering why folks might think that’s the case.

Music Death Cab for Cutie on Amoeba Records What’s in My Bag?
Ben picked up the Twin Peaks soundtrack and they talk about the music and the show. About 8:09 in the video.

Season 3 (The Return) Season 3 deluxe boxset
I'm from Norway and looking for the bluray deluxe boxset for season 3, but I can only find imports of zone 1/A bluerays. Anyone in Europe been able to find it in zone 2/B, or a similar version with behind the scenes?

General Discussion Which one is cooler?
On one hand Pondy's the coolest. At the same time though, James has always been cool.
I guess it depends if we trust Frank or Shelly more.

Reference You slept and dreamed of Óbidos and Nazaré
Hi everyone!
Lately, Lynch's work has been a big influence on me.
I took a trip through Europe and filmed some things.
I ended up editing this video in an experimental way.
Tell me what you think!

Season 1 Just got started
I started this show unknowingly of what a strange concoction of mystery and intrigued it truly was. It is pretty damn good and it has me + my fiance completely hooked.
We are on episode 5, and cannot stop watching it.

Season 1 Pilot symbolism Spoiler
I’m sure this scene’s symbolism has already been discussed at length, but I noticed something as I was rewatching the pilot that I hadn’t really pieced together before.
When Cooper and Sheriff Truman are about to look in Laura’s safe deposit box, there is a stag head lying on the table. The bank employee mentions how it “fell down.” I feel like it could symbolize Cooper’s animus, and his ultimate downfall in saving/resurrecting or protecting Laura in The Return.
Also, on the wall behind Cooper where the stag head fell is the empty plaque with two antennae-like wires sticking out of the top. This plaque looks very similar to the symbol for Judy.
It seems like even from the first episode the cycle of suffering was set. No happy ending or knight in shining armor to save the girl.
Evil wins before we even go on Cooper’s journey.
It looms behind him as they find Ronette in Fleshworld, almost like it’s looking over Cooper’s shoulder.

Season 2 On season2 ep 15, I feel like it’s not as bad as I expected??
Everyone talked about a big drop in quality but idk if I just like mediocre tv or if it’s not actually that bad. It keeps my attention, and I’m enjoying it enough.
