On one hand Pondy's the coolest. At the same time though, James has always been cool.

I guess it depends if we trust Frank or Shelly more.

I mean, in terms of child abandonment, shoving cocaine up one’s nose and driving like a maniac, Pondy is the clear choice. But James has a distinct advantage in forehead acreage, so there’s that.

I never understood why Shelly was the one who said “James was always cool”. In the whole series they weren’t ever close. I don’t even think they had a one on one scene together. Also Shelly worked at the diner so she didn’t know him from school. The only connection I could think of is Norma and Big Ed being together in the series and Shelly knowing about it. And Big Ed is James’ uncle so there’s that connection.

Lol Pondy. I ran into the actor at a show i year or so ago. He was very cool.
