Congratulations! My wife and I both FIREd at 40 to spend more time with our 1 year old and it was as good as we hoped.

I had planned to go back to work eventually but once you experience full freedom over your days it was impossible to imagine dealing with the corporate world again.

So great to hear this. My husband will Keep working although my pay was 2-3times than his…. But it’s time for me. I had sick leave for 3 days and having therapy, this morning I had my coffee in the garden, I feel like living again. You are right, freedom is amazing, it smells amazing, tastes amazing and feel amazing
