Today driving along Bullard & Waddel I saw a happy dude listening to music and dancing. He had on a spiffy sequin jacket and was happy as a clam. Anyways, if anyone knows him - please let him know he is awesome. 👏

General Chef Panda

Not sure how many people in this sub frequent Chef Panda but...

...WTF happened to the food at this place?

Ive been going there for yeeears, since they opened. The food was always above average and always the same... i ordered about a month ago and it was bad, from top to bottom. I figured well hell, i guess i finally caught them on a bad day. But i just picked up another order tonight, same thing i always order, and again... fucking awful!

Under cooked rice, under cooked noodles, the sauce on the padthai was like they literally watered it down... pork & chicken was dry... jesus.

Anyone else notice this?

General Food Truck or Commissary in Surprise

Any food truck owners in here?

Are food truck owners of Surprise and the West Valley driving to PHX for commercial kitchen time?

Any restaurant owners, church leaders, or local business owners looking to rent out some prep/storage commercial kitchen space to a locally owned Food Booth operator?

Looking for leads on a commissary kitchen for use/rent in or near Surprise.

Just need space to prep for farmers markets/events. No cooking or baking on site necessary. Just prep and minimal storage!

Thanks for any leads in advance!

General Recommendations for phone repair

Does anyone know a place they would recommend to replace my batteries in my I-Phone 15 and I-watch? I just can’t justify spending a bunch of money on the latest models because my current phone works great just the battery can’t hold a charge to save its life.

General Best Pizza in Surprise

What is the best pizza in Surprise? With all of the new restaurants going up around town, I'm surprised by the lack of really good, wood-fired pizza (like CIBI or Pizzeria Bianco).

My Daddy's, Italian Bakery nearby probably has my vote, but the hours are limited, spotty, and it's in an inconvenient location.

Bonfire is ok, but I find it a little heavy. Domino's is pretty good, but its Domino's which is not really what you want when you want a great slice. It's a different kind of thing, but it serves a purpose!

Anyway, I'd love to hear some recommendations! I've lived here for more than 12 years, but it is certainly possible that there are some hidden gems I may not be aware of. I hope so anyway!

Hey there! I was a regular of Amanda’s at the Sports Clips on Bell and 303. Just learned she no longer works there. Am in need of a haircut and she was the only one that could cut my hair the right way. Anyone know if she is working at a different place?

General Driving Road test for teen

Hello all, I have three kids and have taught them all how to drive. With the first two, I gave them the starter kit and then they took one of the driving school courses to obtain the licenses. These schools in my opinion are very forgiving and will hand out a license as long as you have paid for the course.

Ok, so my youngest is needing to get her license now and instead of paying for the course, I’d like to validate my skills as a teacher, save the $650 and take her for the DMV Road Test. I’m curious to know how hard/strict the test is. What is the route like etc. any information is welcomed.

We plan on taking the test at the MVD in Surprise. Thank you!

General Need daily dog walker

Looking for a daily dog walker for a small 10lb dog in Surprise active adult community.

I’m planning to leave my dog with my mom for a few months after Thanksgiving. She has a house with a fenced yard but my dog would enjoy a longer daily walk (20-30min and he’s not fast). The dog is friendly and gets excited to meet other dogs. Time of day is pretty flexible.

I can use Rover to find people but wanted to see if there were any other local recommendations.

General Surprise Housing Market

After moving to Surprise nearly 5 years ago into the first house we could get an offer in on (crazy market) we have decided to move into a bigger house. That and we have noticed an uptick in crime. When getting ready to list our house and looking at houses across the valley, I’m noticing Surprise has a lot of houses listed than most other areas (looking at $650k and below). And I’m not even taking new builds into account.

It got me wondering if some of the crime is turning others off or maybe the increased traffic. Just an observation I made and was curious what others thought.

General Not sure who or where to ask, possible missing person?

Hey everyone. I haven't been to AZ for a few years, but I have an uncle who lives there. My mom is in consistent communication from him, but now hasn't heard from him since June 4th.

We are concerned, he's always talked with my mom. He's currently battling cancer and was released from the hospital on the 4th, my grandpa had picked him up and took him back to his car and we haven't heard from him since then. He has been in recovery for a long time now and would regularly attend meetings and events. The church said they haven't seen or heard from him. We have talked to the police and they said there's nothing they're able to do since he is an adult living in his car (he was living in a sober home). I'm not sure how much info I'm able to post, but I'm hoping anyone has seen anything. He drives a 2004 silver Chevy Trailblazer. Please message me if anyone has seen anything.
