Never had White Castle, they don’t exist in my state. They seem like a “hate it or you love it” type chain though.

In college though I would buy the grocery store freezer section White Castle burgers and enjoyed them. The fresh ones tasted very similar to the frozen ones, but it had pickles. Get drunk, nuke some frozen sliders, add a slice of pickle. Your experience will be 90% close to getting it from the restaurant. The fresh ones taste a little beefier and the bread is a little fluffier.
