Please help need gas!

As the title says I am in need of some gas. I am in the Raleigh/Durham area and am switching my kegerator over to a nitrogen system primarily for dispensing Guinness. I of course am looking for the 75% N / 25% CO2 Guinness gas. I've called a few places and the places I talked to either don't do personal tanks (industrial/restaurant sized), or they don't do the blend. Has anyone else had any luck or have any advice?

Just moved and finally had a perfect cabinet for the boys. Up next: setting up the kegerator and inviting at least 16 people over.

Guinness giveaway for tapping without Nitrogen

Hi all, I am currently in Ireland and had a Guinness at the hotel I am at. But something tasted off. Is there any giveaway to check whether the pub/bar taps the beer with 3/4th nitrogen?

Guinness in a Kilkenny Pint Glass

Was served a Guinness in a Kilkenny Pint Glass last night and still havent recovered from it.

Why would this Portugese bar tender do such a thing.

Holiday is ruined.

Kids are crying.

Thanks.

Where To Buy

14.9oz cans are sold in the US. Wondering where to find a Guinness glass that fills this to the top.

Would that be a 440ml glass? If so, where the heck are they sold?

I do have a few 20oz but I'd like to find something for these lame 14.9oz cans.

Preferred Guinness Black & Tan Pouring Tool?

Thumbnail

Howdy friends, avid blacksmith/black&tan drinker here. Recently, I’ve found that there’s such a thing as a pouring tool specifically for floating Guinness on top of lighter beers. So far I’ve seen there’s a spoon which is indented nicely to fit the rim of a Guinness glass VS a circular layering tool with holes on its side that sits over your glass and allows poured Guinness to gently drip over your lighter beer of choice.

Candidly, I must admit the Guinness pouring spoon looks cooler with its “Guinness” engraved handle, but it does seem that the layering tool would be easier to use…

Alas I seek the counsel of this subreddit! Am I overthinking this? Would choosing one over the other be a catastrophic mistake? Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated. Do keep in mind both are ~ $11-13 on Amazon so there’s no financial stake in either decision. Thanks :11
