The CRE250 just seems like such a cool bike to own. And they look pretty damn good. 2t, 6 gears, honda enduro. I want one so bad. Either that or a XR650R. Anyone know where I can find them? I don't think they made a lot of them since the CRE was custom and the XR650R is just not really that common. No luck on marketplace. Honestly I just want a honda that has this type of styling. Those fat circular fenders and boxy headlights and fat radiator shrouds typa styling.

Day one — stalling, a couple of clutch bite falls, 45 minutes of pure determination. By the end of day one he was riding on his own.
Day four — already comfortable in 2nd gear and asking to go every single day.
Couldn't be more proud. Filmed day one if anyone wants to check it out.
link in comments. Any advice for keeping a keen young rider progressing safely would be appreciated too!

I’m really thinking about getting a dirt bike, but I don’t have any friends to ride with. I’m a teen and I live in a rural area and there’s a sand pit nearby where a lot of people go riding. There are always people there with dirt bikes, but I don’t really know any of them personally, and I probably won’t.
I’d love to get one and I think I’d be super fun, but I also feel embarrassed about getting into it when I’d be riding alone.
Another one of my concerns is spending all that money on a dirt bike and then barely riding it because I don’t have anyone to go with.
Has anyone else started riding without having friends who ride? Was getting a dirt bike still worth it?

I posted this 2005 CRF 230f for 2,600 and I’m getting a bunch of offers. Is that too low of a price? I wasn’t expecting it to blow up. I know it’s a great bike but damn. No title

My buddy bought these wide foot pegs for his KTM but the year was off and they didn't fit. He gave them to me. The chinesium lasted until one slight impact. I like the wide fit feeling.

What’s good everyone? I’ll try making this short and sweet. It’s been many years since I’ve owned a bike. Young teenager to be honest. Got into music and haven’t ridden in years. That being said, wanting to get back into it and not really sure what’s best out there. I’m a Yamaha and 2 stroke guy so leaning on the YZ250. Without being biased what’s everyone’s opinion out there on brands? Does 2/4 stroke have more problems? Etc. just trying to get some knowledge one these newer bikes before I go out and buy one. Thanks guys!!!

My 2027 YZ250FX needs new plastics. I have Acerbis on it right now but I’m not too happy with them. They didn’t really fit too well. I see UFO and Decal.
Does anyone have any experience with those, or have another suggestion?

Hi, I have recently bought a 2015 Yamaha Wr250f with 6000km (I’m not sure about the hours but everything inside the engine is original).
Camchain was a little streched (marks were off) but I installed a new chain together with a new tensioner.
Also shimmed the valves, intake valves were a little too tight but now they have 0.19mm and 0.18mm clearance. (Despite going only one size smaller, the clearance increased by 0.07mm. I have used ProX shims. Still in limits.)
I still hear a chain rattle and a metalical sound but bike runs ok (at least this is what I think). Is this sound normal on these bikes?

Pictures are before and after messing with the air/fuel screw. Believed it to be running to rich so I leaned it out, second picture was after a full 6 hour day at the track. I have the screw currently set at 1.5 turns out as per the manual states for my elevation and temp but it seems I can’t get it right. My carb doesn’t have stock jets so I ordered a shindy rebuild kit which will have all stock jets for my bike so I’m excited to try that out, bike also backfires a lot during kicking and on deceleration. What do you guys think. Thanks in advance

I need help if this is fixable it look like the previous owner tried to fix it somehow but its leaking and I want to change the oil but I’m afraid if I take the bolt out it will fall apart.

First bike don’t really know what I’m doing, but enjoying learning how to fix and change parts. The whole thing is rusty af, what parts should I change if it’s even worth it, or should I just ride it till it dies. Runs and rides great haven’t noticed anything wrong.

Bought this bike last year and need recommendations for handlebar, levers and grips.
Bike is a 2019 CRF230F
Mainly used for trail riding.
Currently looking at
- Pro Taper SE 7/8" handlebar MX CR High
- Tusk Folding Dirt Bike Clutch/Brake Lever for Honda (can’t find the clutch lever)
- grips
I’m in Canada so it’s not always easy to get parts from all brands.
Thanks

Cylinder off my 2002 cr250r, is it toast?

do any of you go trail riding with any sort of autoimmune disease/POTS/EDS or any other inflammatory bullshit? how do you take care of yourself before/during/after so you can keep riding as long as possible and not feel like death after?
so far all i’ve got is rest day before, eat well, PLENTY of electrolytes. I take brakes through the day. good meal after and a nice epsom salt bath. but what do YALL do?
I’m still a new rider so i’m having plenty of falls and my body is still getting used to riding.
