1200 euros in Beograd
I have an apartment in Beograd and have been offered a job paying 1200 euros. I do not pay any utilities. Is this enough to have a good comfortable life in Beograd?
ED: I will not have to pay for apartment nor utilities.

Perfectly fine. Majority of people in Belgrade earn between 800 and 1200 euros. If you have an apartment (i assume tih means you don't pay rent) and you don't pay utilities that is a major factor and because of that I would say it is absolutely enough for a good life. Even if you had to pay rent and utilities, you could still live a decent life, travel for a vacation once a year and you wouldn't have to think about putting food on the table. Maybe even save some money each month.

I have a salary of 1300 euros in Belgrade and I just can't manage to save for a vacation or for anything else after rent and all the expenses.

If you do not pay for a rent and utilities, and this is netto amount, I think you can have an ok life (but all will be spent, no savings and will be very hard to get a mortgage).

Depends on your life style exclusively and what you consider by "a good comfortable life in Belgrade".
A 1,200 EUR per month with paid rent is not much to talk about in 2026 . If you plan on having a newer car, paying the gas and service costs for it, going out, taking vacations, eating at restaurants every other day and buying decent clothes, than NO. It's far from being comfortable money.

yes it's good enough for a decent lifestyle, but does it really warrant moving countries and uprooting your life? I guess it depends on where you're from, but if you can have a comfortable life back home, this isn't like moving to a life of luxury

i was in a similar situation, i had almost no utilities or bills and my salary was 650 euros. i lived just fine, i could essentially even afford to splurge on some things and i always had money left at the end of the month. i did have a free meal and a lot of free food at my workplace, so that also helped cut my expenses.
edit: belgrade might be the most expensive city in serbia, but not all places here are expensive. everybody is shocked where i find cheap beer and coffee when i tell them my entire night out costs 1000 dinars (8-9 euros) at most.

Yes it is. I live at my own apartment at the same wage, and I spend around 700 Euros per month, and I can go probably even lower.

I will paste my comment I posted a few days ago on a post from a guy who was coming to Belgrade with 1200e salary.
People here are so delusional lol. With that salary you'll live just fine. It's almost double our median salary which is around 80k. Most people work for around 100k, if they have a decent job. That 3000 euros and other bullshit you hear here, maybe 1% of Belgrade and Serbia have that salary, yet we are all still alive lol. With 140k you will live a decent life, nothing glamorous, but a nice life. You can travel 1-2 times a year for example etc. For a moderate lifestyle it will be just fine. You will save a little, nothing too much, you can save way more if you find a roommate, many people in Belgrade do that. Don't listen to these delulu people. There are few realistic people on this post who told you the truth. Welcome!
It applies to you. Welcome!
