1200 euros in Beograd

I have an apartment in Beograd and have been offered a job paying 1200 euros. I do not pay any utilities. Is this enough to have a good comfortable life in Beograd?

ED: I will not have to pay for apartment nor utilities.

I will paste my comment I posted a few days ago on a post from a guy who was coming to Belgrade with 1200e salary.

People here are so delusional lol. With that salary you'll live just fine. It's almost double our median salary which is around 80k. Most people work for around 100k, if they have a decent job. That 3000 euros and other bullshit you hear here, maybe 1% of Belgrade and Serbia have that salary, yet we are all still alive lol. With 140k you will live a decent life, nothing glamorous, but a nice life. You can travel 1-2 times a year for example etc. For a moderate lifestyle it will be just fine. You will save a little, nothing too much, you can save way more if you find a roommate, many people in Belgrade do that. Don't listen to these delulu people. There are few realistic people on this post who told you the truth. Welcome!

It applies to you. Welcome!

Serbia ≠ Belgrade.

This is the main misconception. 1,200 is just fine salary in Belgrade.

This is not great, nor it is enough for comfortable life in Belgrade, as OP inquires. Say, you cannot ride a taxi every day, go to the restaurant on a weekly basis. You have to be savy. Of course, this is far from poor salary, also.

Since when does a comfortable life mean taxis and restaurants every single day?
