Not only are most of the kits I see hyper-unrealistic, they just look goofy af😂

Can't beat all the guys running around with full on backpacking ruck sacks. Look like they're on an Everest expedition.

How else are you going to carry 20 mags you are never going to use?

u/Eastern-Pass-5478 Apr 28 '26

You absolutely need 20 mags.

larper vs darper

Even in a situation where I've died fairly quickly, I've burnt through at least 5 mags before going down. 20 mags is fairly standard carry

I typically carry like 10 mags, usually have to scavenge of dead guys

6 mags. If I need more I’ll just take them off your corpse.

I carry 7 mags (plus the one in my gun). Helpful if I’m pinned down. I also carry a pistol with two extra mags, as a backup/finishing weapon

its like that one time you wished u had 20 mag, and from then on you always carry 20 mags that u hardly ever use half of 😂

Love the guys joining a hardcore server and assaulting positions with 60-70 kg worth of shit

I only do that when I’m going DEEP behind enemy lines, but I’ll usually switch it for an enemy pack once I’ve deployed the gear that I’ve brought.

I need it for Carl G rounds and yes I always go through all of them

I blame the horrendous clothing mods out there. The camos NEVER look good, the shirts NEVER look good, the pants NEVER look good, vests are never the right colour, nothing matches with one another, 200 balaclava options yet you'll only get US camos that look awful. These modern clothing mods are just awful lol.

I could never enjoy them because I found them to be too complicated. I would scroll through what seemed to be hundreds of items and could never figure out what matched with what. Then if I forgot to save my loadout I'd have to do it all over again. I wish we had a 'basic' modern day mod.

That’s me with all these suppressors and optics. I can never see exactly what I need to suppress my MK18 as any other 5.56 ar one apparently does not work

Press the inspect button at the weapon box on your selected weapon in your hands and click on the attachment box...

u/swagestan Apr 28 '26

Oh yeah, don't even get me started on weapon attachments. I just skip those and play as a basic rifleman.

4

u/fangteixeira Apr 28 '26

I don't usually play modded servers, but I do like some tactical barbie once in a while. For weapon attachments it's always better to equip the weapon that you want to costumize, select it in your inventory while at the arsenal and press the attachments keybind (I think it's "I" on pc). That will show your gun and what attachments can be set without having to scroll through dozens of pages.

while there def. are bad or low quality clothing mods, what you are saying is overstatment. There are many great mods that add a big variety of high quality camos from different nations, and which are easily matched or mixed

All those bandanas and the grunts still always run the skull ones

Not like it's a problem for non-console players but modding downloads also take obscenely long for us and all the clothing mods are more nonsense to chug through.

6

u/Sweet-Tomatillo-9010 Apr 27 '26

looks at you in my recreation of Randy Shugarts kit from Operation Gothic Serpent

3

u/Jumpy_Radio_949 Apr 28 '26

I download 10 gigs of mods, try to build a gothic serpent load out, think it looks like shit, and quit

u/hotwife_throne Apr 27 '26

Everyone wants to be delta force a lot just don’t know how to look the part

2

u/Nuromake Apr 28 '26

That's why I put on my tactical Hawaiian shirt

Saw a guy on old guys wearing a helmet with counter weights, glow in the dark patches, goggles, nvg and a gas mask
