Identify Help identify this flag in Germany

Post image

Found this flag cut out sticker in the small German town of Irrel. Can someone identify this flag?

They did it this way because if you stack the flag together 4 times the grey lines make a swastika. That’s what this flag is.

u/ayyndrew May 30 '25

I doubt that's intentional, it's probably just based on the Progress Pride flag

u/NERDUZZZ ISIS May 30 '25

Which coincidentally sorta looks like my very own country's flag

It's called Nerduzzia

1

u/[deleted] Jun 01 '25

Lmao for a sec i almost believed this was a real country

1

u/NERDUZZZ ISIS Jun 01 '25

Well I guess it's realistic looking

1

u/[deleted] Jun 01 '25

Or im stupid hahh😅

-2

u/AHRA1225 May 30 '25

Ya and if you stack 4 of them together it’s a nazi symbol. This shit surely was noticed and they still went with it. Shit is a nazi flag

2

u/Remarkable-Bug-8069 May 31 '25

It's not that deep.

It’s been posted in here like several times bro. You using your eyeballs?

1

u/Peraltinguer Jun 03 '25

Are you suggesting the pride flag is secretly a nazi dogwhistle?

1

u/[deleted] Jun 03 '25

I'm suggesting that

I've never fully understood this flag. If I understand this correctly it stands for:

The gay people, all 3 variations of it, gay, lesbian and bi sexual. As the rainbow colours on the right. The arrow of black and brown are supposed to represent black and brown people? Perhaps? Although I'm not sure about that since it has nothing to do with sexual preferences or sexual orientation in any way. Also, I thought being proud of ones skin colour was considered to be racist. It used to be at least. Or perhaps it's only racist if we're talking about white people and not people who have darker skin tone? That in itself is very discriminatory though, racist is the correct word in that instance if that's the case. Aside from being proud of ones skin colour is dumb. It's not an achievement. you're just born that way. It's inherited, it just says that your ancestors evolved in an area that they need little or much protection from the sun. That's all. It says absolutely nothing about you as a person it only says about you how easily you get sunburned or if you can tolerate the sun well. Anyway... so I'm not sure I got that one right, I probably got it wrong, it makes no sense. The white and the light blue arrow and whatever colour it is between them is representing trans people. That's all I've got What does the yellow triangle on the left mean? And the purple circle inside it? Ahh... yes and the brown and the black arrow? And please... I know the people who this flag represent get offended insanely easily and their "allies" as well, and they are ferociously viscous to anyone that's not to their liking, listen... I'm just asking because I'm curious, it's not a hate crime or whatever, it's just a question. So it would be very appreciated if you could just educate me by answering my question. You don't need to throw a tantrum in a fit of rage and get me banned. I'm not attacking you by asking this question I'm just curious about the exact meaning behind the flag design. That's all. Please relax. You're safe. You're not being attacked or oppressed or anything of the sort. You're not a victim of anything at the moment. It's just a question. Nothing dangerous.

On the pride point, pride is the opposite of shame. So the idea is for people who have often been made to be ashamed of some aspect of their identity to assert their pride instead in defiance.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 01 '25

Do you know anything about any of the other stuff I mentioned? For example the brown and black arrow or the yellow triangle or the purple circle?

1

u/CheesyKirah Jun 01 '25

The yellow and purple is from the intersex flag and the black and brown are to represent black and brown people because in queer history black and brown people played a huge part

1

u/Business-Let-7754 Jun 02 '25

The brown is for brown people and the black is for aids. I'm not making it up, I swear.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 03 '25

When you say it like this, it sounds like you're making it up. To be honest.

1

u/Business-Let-7754 Jun 03 '25

Ikr. Look it up.

If only we had something we carried with us everywhere that we could simply type, "rainbow flag meaning" into, and it would tell us each part of this flag. It's too bad we don't have something like that. /s jic someone doesn't understand sarcasm.

1

u/Bari_Baqors Jun 02 '25

Well, the simple rainbow colors you know. The rest is as follows: Yellow triangle with purple circle: intersex Black and brown: AIDS (and the ones who were lost due to it), POC communities Light blue, light pink, white: trans and nonbinary I'm gay, and I wasn't offended at all, have a nice day, tho, finding what each color means takes around a minute. It is worth to note that POC communities added much to the community, and white is already in it, it means trans and nonbinary, but I think we can also say that it means white too, but only if we make LGBTQ+ community also an antiracist movement. Also, there is white-and-black-stripes flag for heterosexual, and because white and black are on the flag we can also add this to the meaning, tho, it is my proposition and idea not official one.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 02 '25

Thank you. I appreciate it.

1

u/Bari_Baqors Jun 03 '25

You're welcome, and have a nice day

1

u/[deleted] Jun 03 '25

And you as well good sir

-24

u/Group_Happy May 30 '25

So the transpeople were the hidden nazis all along?

14

u/Many_Engine4694 May 30 '25

About as much as the Nazis were socialists.

0

u/Armgoth May 31 '25

Dude you made it.

-3

u/CynicalOptimistSF May 30 '25

No, but the hidden symbolism of this flag is that trans and racial issues will be used as a wedge to split the LGBTQ community apart.

1

u/Group_Happy May 30 '25

What the fuck? Trans issues split the lgbTq community?

6

u/CynicalOptimistSF May 30 '25

Trans issues have been used by the right in an attempt to fracture the LGBTQ community. That whole "LGB without the T" crap is an example. I am in no way blaming our actual trans siblings, they have always been an integral part of our community. But the original rainbow flag was supposed to symbolize the inclusion of the entire community.

2

u/bisexual_socialist May 31 '25

Nah I think it was just very poorly worded

Watch out, you're gonna summon the gaystapo.

u/flynnfx May 30 '25

(Lieutenant Grűber from the British comedy series 'Allo, 'Allo)

1

u/FellTheAdequate Jun 01 '25

How did you type that letter

1

u/flynnfx Jun 01 '25

I take it you mean the ű , yes?

I'm on Android, so if may be different for you.

However, on Android, you long-press the letter and you will get different versions for different languages.

Like for o , I can also get ọ , œ , ő , ò and others.

For e , I can also get é , ê , ē , ę and others.

a - æ ā ª â and others

C ć ç ĉ

Ď đ ď

E ə ë

G ĝ ğ

Ĥ ï ĵ ķ ł ŋ ř ß ț ù ẅ ỳ ž

So, when you long-depress the letter, a little colum opens up, without releasing the long-press, slide your finger to the version you want.

I didn't post all the different versions for each letters, there's quite a few.

1

u/FellTheAdequate Jun 01 '25

Interesting. It looks different from my options. I was just wondering!

2

u/fartingbeagle May 30 '25

Herr Röhm?

1

u/Soonerpalmetto88 May 31 '25

Gaystapo has entered the chat

Hey guys, thanks for giving me another reason to dislike the progress flag! The traditional one is far better and not divisive.

1

u/[deleted] May 31 '25

They're Fashists

1

u/ManWhoIsDrunk May 31 '25

Do they carry Gucci bags with their Hugo Boss suits?

1

u/kanto96 May 31 '25

Wasn't that just the SA

1

u/Noncrediblepigeon Jun 01 '25

Ernst Röhm wants to know you location (He is horny and angry).

1

u/Millipond Jun 02 '25

🤣🤣🤣 This Swastika is a contradiction in itself

1

u/AHRA1225 May 30 '25

There it is

3

u/ProletarianPride May 30 '25

This is reaching considering the Nazis killed trans people.

5

u/quixoteland May 30 '25 edited Jul 07 '25

My dude, as the LGBTQ+ flag has the same base pattern as OP's post, they are merely showing how stacking 4 flags gets you a swastika, not that the pride flag has anything to do with the swastika. I hope that helps.

0

u/ProletarianPride May 30 '25

Apologies. There are terfs that try to conflate Nazism and trans people and as a trans woman it puts me on the defensive.

3

u/AHRA1225 May 30 '25

I’m not trying to conflate them. Just pointing out how the flag in the OPs pic was copy and used just like the pride flag was and it was done with the purpose of being antagonistic and incorporating the nazi symbol

-1

u/SafeTax3436 May 31 '25

Hey, man, the fact that you decided on voluntary castration doesn't automatically make you always right. Wait, or does it?🤔

1

u/ProletarianPride May 31 '25

It's too bad you don't identify as someone with original shit to say.

1

u/akathron May 31 '25

Change direction

1

u/caydeofspaydes Jun 02 '25

Oh so thaaaat’s why I use my right hand to pleasure my man during June.

0

u/[deleted] May 31 '25

I for one welcome the fascist gays, I'd much prefer them.

1

u/flynnfx May 30 '25

I did not see that coming.

1

u/Furkler May 30 '25

They don't. You would have a total of 10 straight lines in a 'broken cross', not 6. And who goes around arranging flags in a 'Bridget's Cross' arrangement. I think it is quite edgy and signals diversity and action.

1

u/Th3onib May 30 '25

Stop giving them the swastika symbol, it was never German

Not really, that's just 90° ankles.

It's a jab at the modern pride flag version from a movement called "Stolzmonat" which is a nazi right wing German version of pride month (pride to be German by heritage)

BUT a direct connection to right wing bullshit is the Kekistan flag from 4chan
