Mesa AZ food

Hi everyone, I’m looking for food recommendations around Mesa that are good local places to go eat tonight (not huge chains like olive garden) and need some ideas.

I also will add my favorites and later add other’s recommendations to this to show off to people who might be searching for the same thing 🫡

Mv PITA - Greek Zona Cantina - Mexican fusion Toh Zan Nagasaki Grill - traditional Japanese Blue adobe - fire but probably need a reservation.

I get excited every time I see these posts, but then I remember I'm in this boring pocket of Mesa that you referenced and I'd have to drive downtown for everything else. I agree with your recs though.

I’m on a hunt to find good stuff in this area. There is also asi es me Tierra which is BOMB trad Mexican food, that’s on the edge of AJ. Thai patio is extremely good. Red white and brew has its specials I really enjoy, where else can you get liver and onions? I know I’m weird, I eat everything. Zushi is good sushi.

I agree with you though, I wish there were more “hidden gems” over here. 5 R Cha is good Thai but I find I’m addicted to Thai patios curry more.

Got Sushi has become a favorite due to their prices and friendliness. I used to frequent Zushi before that. Sonsons is good if you like pasties.
