I grew up and lived in Maryland for over 40 years, and I have no idea if that flag is the right way up.

But "black square in the air" I can get down with that.

It's still the best flag ever.

Can someone explain that part to me? There are no black squares on the md flag

Oh ok so im getting down voted because people dont understand elementary school geometry...got it thanks for everyone explaining that there is not a black square on the flag...like I said

I bumped you up so you’re out of the negative, but I think you were taking hits because they assumed you should’ve been able to figure out what they meant from the context, and that it has nothing to do with geometry. “Black square in the air” is a common saying when discussing the Maryland flag.
