State of the streets

Just been down Upper Street/Highbury & Islington streets are still such a state. Smashed bottles and glass everywhere...

Club and the fans should really be doing more to clean the streets...

They’ve been working on it since about 7am. You can say that people shouldn’t have made such a fucking mess in the first place and I would agree with you, but they can only clean it up as fast as they can, it’s not as if they’re sitting around with their thumbs up their arseholes hoping that a strong wind will just blow it all into Hackney.

7am?!! They should've started last night. Kids had to walk through that rubbish to get to school!!

When I was younger, Rangers left Manchester literally ankle deep in rubbish after their 2008 riot - had to walk to school through it and was absolutely disgusting.

Just a grotesque sense of entitlement to just drop rubbish wherever they feel like it.

You don’t need to tell me mate I’m not the council, all I can do is write what I saw when I went for a walk this morning

They didn’t imply you work for the council. They’re echoing a sentiment (inspired by your observation) that the council should have began the work earlier. Whether or not it’s possible is another thing entirely.
