Hi All,
My niece (16F) is looking for her first ever job and so far has had little response to applications. She is a clever and polite young lady and could easily work in a public facing role.
Does anyone here have any experience with or know of any local companies that offer employment opportunities for younger workers.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated so I can point her in the right direction and be a good uncle

Hey guys,
I got the 717 coach outside of cineworld to get to Stansted (9pm on 30/5), like an idiot I left my tablet on the coach. I spoke to national express at the station and they said to fill out the form and the 717 bus will be returning to ipswich with new passengers. Long shot but anyone on that seen a lenova tablet??

Are there any woman here (Particularly in their 20s) that are looking for female friends in Ipswich.
I don't have any friends here in Ipswich as I'm not from the area but would love to meet new people.

Good afternoon everyone! I'm moving to Ipswich for university in September and will need to bring my car for placements. I have been informed by the uni that the parking permit does not however allow me to park overnight, so I'll have to find alternative provisions on residential streets (unless I want to park on the other side of the the town, supposedly).
I was under the impression that 99.9% of the roads were covered under resident permits? Does anyone know a way to be able to park in Ipswich without a. losing an arm and a leg in the process or b. getting a fine from the council?
Thanks!

Hey everyone, me and my partner are interested in a flat along the waterfront (Key Street) however there will not be a space for his van to park. Does anyone know if there are any car parks in this area that will allow a van permit? And he cannot leave his van at work sadly as he does 24h work and their gates get locked.

Anyone got any advice for where to go, or where to avoid?
Thanks

I was at The Strata in Vegas Jan 28, and met a wonderful couple from Ipswich celebrating her birthday (40th I believe), and I believe his name was Mark (I'm old and forgot her name completely).
We had a great discussion about Ipswich, Wrexham, Arsenal (I'm a USian Arse Fan, and that shirt-pull on Raya should have been a yellow card, let alone a foul...but I digress). My friend and I were chatting about that trip and how Ipswich did the bounce made promotion.
So, Mark, if you're out there, congratulations on the Bounce, but we won't get to see a Wrexham/Ipswich playoff game or Prem game! Happy Birthday again to your wife...hope your kids survived without you...
We'll see The Tractor Boys next year!!

Hiya
I recently moved into the area of IP4
I’d love to know some walking routes starring a circuit that anyone would be able to recommend. I need to get my steps up and at least try to get five or 6 miles ( GP suggestions)
Ideally, some green or waterways as long as it can be put into a nice circle route
I’d really appreciate any routes anyone can suggest
Thank you so much in advance

Hello Ipswich people. Work is sending me to your lovely town for a few months. I know nothing about the place. Are there any places to avoid or not avoid? Where is the best pub? When is the swell best for surfing? Any tips are handy, cheers.
I'm an aussie coming from Sydney.
Edit: the surfing comment is just a joke guys, i know geography. I'm gonna be in Ipswich for a while, surely there are some good things?

This film is fronted by Chris Packham and spearheads a major push to tell the British public the truth about the risks to the UK from the climate and nature crisis and about the solutions that exist - if we act fast enough.
Screenings focus on local action and the local MP is always invited and asked to ask the Government to do a prime-time, televised national emergency briefing on the crisis, mount a proper emergency response, and show international leadership.
Great to see it being screened in Ipswich!

Hi,
I am looking for recommendations for letting agents for me to rent out my flat as I'm relocating. Any recommendations for someone with optimal rent potential, good tenant quality and low hassle management?
Thank you

Currently have a driving test booked for Ipswich on the 18 May at 12:08 pm.
I had a test booked for June 23rd, used test shift and accidentally moved my test to 18th May which I'm unable to attend due to work.
Looking to swap to a test in Ipswich before 11th May. If not possible then anything after the 11th June.
Thanks.

I've just found out that Akira has been re-released and is showing in both cinemas in town.
I want to take my 15yo son, who I'm perfectly happy is mature enough to watch it.
While he could possibly pass for 18, I'd rather not buy tickets and have him turned away..
Does anyone have any idea how strict they are on age at either cineworld or omniplex.
