I don't know her. I don't have any reason to think she's joking.

Plus I don't have a lot of tolerance for "I'm just being edgy" or "I'm just venting" sexist jokes. More often than not, they're not joking, just telling on themselves.

Ironic sexists and casual sexists have a fundamental problem... to people who don't know how much they don't mean the things they're sayings... they're just being sexist.

well that gets back to my initial point, you cannot spend your whole life assuming the worst of everyone you interact with because some people are awful. you dont know her, so why assume she's bad? why not just assume she's joking? it's not even an edgy joke... its pretty tame queer humor.

I'm doing one better than assuming anything. I'm letting her words do the talking.

As I've explained before, I'm just sick of sexism. If you need to use sexism to be funny, you're not funny, just sexist.

I mean, do you really think gender nonconforming men really need their appearances policed more? And by allies?

It's just the same basic ass sexism I've heard my whole life.

It's not tame, just pathetic. Have some standards.

if a joke about a man bun is the sexism that plagues your life than you probably have a lot better than 99% of us.
