Did you workout your first trimester?
Hi I am pregnant with my 4th, had a very active pregnancy the last time around. I’m almost 5 weeks pregnant with this one and I can’t remember ever feeling THIS nauseous and tired with my first. I mean I was super active lifting, Pilates, pickleball, etc. wondering if anyone else felt this way and if it gets better? also kind of having a harder time with worrying about everything I built as far as muscle because I went to eating over 2500 calories a day to barely being able to eat at all which I’m sure isn’t helping me.

I weightlifted 3-4x a week first trimester with some walks sprinkled in. I have been weightlifting for 5 years and simply lowered the weights and made sure to implement functional movements and stretching beforehand.
The nausea and fatigue was awful, but I gave myself a 10 minute rule: if I was truly miserable and nauseous 10 minutes into a workout, I could call it. That way, I at least got 10 minutes of intentional movement in! I only had to tap out about 3 times during the first tri. We are lucky enough to have a small home gym, so that definitely helped.
I'm in the second tri now, and hear me: it gets better! I've been able to increase my weights a little bit and increase my workouts to 5x a week. Fatigue is still there but not nearly as bad.
