As a PC gamer that complains about the prices. I don't know either 🤣

Well, I got at least 10 games obtained legally that cost me under 1 cent an hour played.

  1. Evil Genius 1
  2. Master of Orion 2
  3. Dwarf Fortress (free AND my most played in this list)
  4. XCom 2 (heavily modded)
  5. Skyrim
  6. Beyond all Reason (free, but I am so bad at this game)
  7. Project Zomboid (so many mods)
  8. Doom 2 (plenty of WADs including mine)
  9. DDLC (free, although "game" is a generous term)
  10. Dungeon Keeper 2

(Note: Opened my PC, can safely add Heroes of Might and Magic 3 AND 5: Tribes of the East, Age of Wonders 1 AND 3 (planetfall cost too much, but it is still under 5 cents an hour), The Sims (original), One Must Fall 2097, Master of Magic, Unreal Tournament, Deus Ex.)

Altho, tbf, console side, I got 6 titles. A link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart 64, Smash Brothers Melee, Star Fox 64 and MegamanX Collection.

Oh wait, going WAY back, C&C (the o.g., named after-the-fact: Tiberian Dawn).
