Iโ€™ve lived in Toronto, Montreal, and London and I would choose the UK.

Pros: London is one of the best cities in the world and truly a melting pot of so many cultures; surrounding towns and country side is gorgeous; historical; people are lovely and laid back (mostly); lots of greenery and parks; weather is mild; pub culture; groceries are cheaper and more fresh; next to Europe and easily can travel to other parts of the world; well connected transport system in most of the country.

Cons: salaries are generally lower in most fields relative to the higher cost of leaving

If you get outside London, you get the best of both worlds. Salaries are only slightly lower, but properties are larger and WAY cheaper. I can remember as a kid finding out that a lot of people in London donโ€™t have space for a uwashing machines or dryers. I was horrified! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Happy to know you enjoyed your time here.๐Ÿ™‚
