Do you have or plan to have kids?

Good question. If so, Canada has birthright citizenship. NZ does too but only if OP has permanent residence at the time of birth. Their kid, if they intend to have one, could have dual citizenship if they choose Canada.

Depends on so many things. Big one is do you have family you like to see and if so where? If you’re family are in Europe than life in NZ will feel very far away.
NZ is beautiful but isolated. Canada, also beautiful but massive, city you move to matters a lot. UK would be my last choice. Great for proximity to Europe, fun nightlife and culture as a young person but bleugh the weather.

If I were you I’d go to Canada. You can be close to family and still maintain connections with the UK easily due to distance and time zones.
NZ would literally be the other side of the world and make all those connections more difficult and costly.

My family is from rural Northern Ireland (UK) and moved to Canada during The Troubles. Many returned after a number of years, but a lot are still over there.
I’m from NI so I am inherently a wee bit biased, the ones that returned praise express there’s things done better in either country.
I think each country has their issues and it really depends what you’re looking to do.
For the longest time, all I wanted to do was move to London and work there, build up my life and go from there, however now I’m a little bit older (24) I’ve come to appreciate where I’m from, I’ve built a life here and while I’m not ‘successful’ per se in the sense I currently do not have a career and haven’t used my degree etc etc I’ve discovered a real sense of belonging and what I want to do in the future.
I’d love to visit the CANZUK countries one day and I might genuinely see myself ending up in NZ or Australia as we’re so culturally similar, but I’m generally happy where I am.

I'm Canadian and currently live in Canada. I'd pick Britain, because I love it there. But perhaps I'd come right back if Reform were to take power in '29.

I’ve lived in Toronto, Montreal, and London and I would choose the UK.
Pros: London is one of the best cities in the world and truly a melting pot of so many cultures; surrounding towns and country side is gorgeous; historical; people are lovely and laid back (mostly); lots of greenery and parks; weather is mild; pub culture; groceries are cheaper and more fresh; next to Europe and easily can travel to other parts of the world; well connected transport system in most of the country.
Cons: salaries are generally lower in most fields relative to the higher cost of leaving

If you get outside London, you get the best of both worlds. Salaries are only slightly lower, but properties are larger and WAY cheaper. I can remember as a kid finding out that a lot of people in London don’t have space for a uwashing machines or dryers. I was horrified! 😂
Happy to know you enjoyed your time here.🙂

Honestly none. UK too small, dull weather, English are extremely reserved, lonely and polite but unwelcoming locals, 2 faced culture, run down and lower quality of life and standards, depressing.
NZ even more lonely, no cities, very few jobs, antartica is more closer than rest of the world, nothing to do except nature, non existent job market, lowest salary in the Western development world, kiwis not easy to befriend, weird sense of humor (lower), poor housing standards, poor infrastructure, skin cancer causing sun
Canada - poor salaries, very cold, just 3 cities, poor job market (better than nz worse than UK), work culture of usa but salaries lower than Netherlands/UK, taxes like Europe but benefits not like EU i.e worst of all worlds, Canadians are polite but passive aggressive.
Despite all it's faults, US is the best Anglo place. Weather choices, infinite cities, significantly more welcoming/chatty/outgoing people and friendly interactions everywhere. Jobs and salaries for professional jobs are the highest in the world and infinite possibilities for jobs, social connections and places to live.

The USA is the worst place for Brits, even before the current political climate. Its main benefits are salaries (but not WLB or quality of life) and career advancement opportunities, which are faster than most. It is also a country that has lost its moral compass. Social connections? It is one of the loneliest countries i the developed world and largely is uncaring fr the less fortunate in society.

The USA is the worst place for Brits
Oh here we go again. The same regurgitated crap.
Social connections? It is one of the loneliest countries i the developed world and largely is uncaring fr the less fortunate in society.
Look, it is quite clear you have never lived in US. But unlike you, I have lived in UK, US, a few European countries and Australia. After wasting years of my life and speaking to hundreds of expats and immigrants all over living in those places there, I came to the conclusion that US is best overall, especially for welcoming people, climate, jobs, geography, cities and just friendly interactions everywhere.
In London most people are ridiculously rude for no reason. Prior almost her heart attack of you say hi to prior waking in streets let alone have random interactions. In US the grocery checkout guy will chit chat about weather, day and just nonsense which is so much fun and perks take them not very seriously. That barely happens in UK. UK was the most depressing, rundown and "2nd world feeling" compared to all the developed world. Ireland was worse than UK.
The British are polite but very very reserved, 2 faced saying one thing but meaning other, passive aggressive and just very very lonely to be around. So many people including the Aussies and kiwis and Americans that I knew, all left UK and went back citing "it's cool but depressing and poor weather and run down".
Scotland is nice (and prior are nicer) but empty and north of England is significantly more depressing and under maintained.
Look, amongst foreigners this is a well known fact that UK and English moreso are reserved, 2 faced and just not fun to be around. North English people are better then South but overall it is a wash
Also, Brits are special category of people. They almost always go to Australia. A million of them there already. Their ancestors created AU, so it is culturally the same and with Sun.
But for everyone else, nah.

Depends on the city more than the country. But I’d go with the UK if it was main cities like London as compared to Montreal, Toronto etc. more vibrant, lively, good pay, etc stc
