Question Hand Tremors

Post image

I’ve been doing diamond art for a while and something I’ve always struggled with is hand tremors. They’re caused by a medication I take which unfortunately I cannot ever get off of unless I wanna have seizures. Is there any tips and tricks for people who have these types of issues when working on a project? Mine will get really bad since it’s an activity that requires precision.

Weirdly piano has helped them but it’s still a struggle 😭

Not relevant but there's my cat :)

Side note: I use the really cheap pink pens. Probably doesn't help

Oo! Yeah! My tremors improved appreciably after I bought the thicker pen. I chose the slim metal tips one from Amazon bc the standard ones push the drills around.

My hands shake occasionally due to anxiety and I don’t take meds, too many “rules” for getting them prescribed. I prop my right arm on a bunched up towel and use my left hand to steady my right hand if needed.

I don't have severe ones but I've noticed that I get very faint ones from time to time lately for unknown reasons. There's 2 things I can suggest. Getting a bigger pen so your grip doesn't need to be so tight, letting your hand relax a bit more, as well as these stick pads . What you do with them is that you put them down on your surface and put the tray of diamonds on top. This will help make sure no trays are knocked over and no diamonds go spilling. (the lone downside i have to them is that they're not as easy to move as I'd like, but I have a tiny surface that I work on so i don't use them)
