Lesson learned. Don't fold your diamond painting into quarters and don't put anything on top of it either.

Oh no. Next time gently roll the canvas drills facing out.

Especially important if you're inclined to do square drills!! They are generally more tightly spaced and thus will pop off the canvas if rolled inward. I roll my canvases out, larger ones around a wrapping paper tube if available, never have a problem.

I usually roll them facing in. What does rolling it facing out do differently?

Rolling drills facing in can cause drills to pop off because they are being squished against each other

It's a lot less important for round drill. I'd still do it, so youre in the habit; but round drills naturally have more space between them.

Square drills, on the other hand....definitely drills out, always.
