Tips / Tricks / Tools I received my organizers today!

I was so excited when these arrived! I spent the last 3ish hours unboxing and transferring drills into these new bins. It took awhile because I had to cut and place each piece of yellow washi tape (for easy removal when I am finished) and place each custom sticker label on top.

I designed, printed, and cut the labels myself because this kit only came with a poorly placed guide on the BACK of the canvas ๐Ÿ˜… Fortunately I very much enjoy designing these systems and it was super satisfying when it all came together!

Iโ€™m genuinely so excited to dive back into this painting now, but I have to make myself stop and go make dinner or else Iโ€™ll sit here all night lol. Was just so excited to share because I donโ€™t have any friends who are into the hobby!

These are the organizers I got: https://a.co/d/0arCzwxE and the diamond painting is Cat With Flowers from the spring shop at Hobby Lobby โœจ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿ’•

Your excitement really bursts through your post! Quite an inspiration.

Instead of washi tape, I go low and use whatever clear adhesive tape I have on hand. I make a teensy tab so it is easier to grab and peel when dekitting. Then I put it on the little plastic bag it goes on, with a fresh piece of tape on top.

Thank you!! The tab idea is really smart ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜

Also that silver glitter tape is so pretty. Can you explain the washi tape (or whichever kind that is) around the border? I see people do it to traditional canvas dpโ€™s and i have some on the way so curious what itโ€™s for

I started doing it when I first worked square drills. I find it helpful starting the first row.

A much bigger reason is there is almost always some overflow of adhesive all around the design. Aside from sticking to hands and other things while you work, it picks up lint, dust, animal fur, crumbs... it looks pretty gross.

I am a sucker for sparkles, like most DP fans, so I browsed Amazon for sparkly washi tape. No idea how it was listed, but here is the original label. It is unfortunately a bit sticky on the top, but tolerable.
