Tips / Tricks / Tools I received my organizers today!

I was so excited when these arrived! I spent the last 3ish hours unboxing and transferring drills into these new bins. It took awhile because I had to cut and place each piece of yellow washi tape (for easy removal when I am finished) and place each custom sticker label on top.

I designed, printed, and cut the labels myself because this kit only came with a poorly placed guide on the BACK of the canvas 😅 Fortunately I very much enjoy designing these systems and it was super satisfying when it all came together!

I’m genuinely so excited to dive back into this painting now, but I have to make myself stop and go make dinner or else I’ll sit here all night lol. Was just so excited to share because I don’t have any friends who are into the hobby!

These are the organizers I got: https://a.co/d/0arCzwxE and the diamond painting is Cat With Flowers from the spring shop at Hobby Lobby ✨🐈💕

Thank you so much for sharing your process. I was wondering how to do stickers. Thanks for the link to the organizer too. I'm brand new to the hobby and these posts help so much!

Of course, no problem, I’m glad I could inspire you!

For these custom label stickers, I took pictures of the kit’s legend on my phone and sent them to my computer. I designed them on photoshop but Canva is a free alternative you can access on any web browser and is more than capable of designing something like this 🙂‍↕️ Basically the idea is to cut out the symbols from your photo and make your own numbers in the program. Then you’d just line up each cut out symbol next to its corresponding number!

Printing them out, you can probably use any normal printer. The only special thing is the sticker paper, but you can order that anywhere or even buy at craft stores. I personally used cheap matte (not shiny/glossy) white sticker paper.

And then for cutting, I opted to use my cutting machine (I have the Juliet Siser but other options are Cricut, Silhouette, etc), but honestly for these simple rectangle shapes, you could use scissors!

So you’d need to design the labels in some photo editing program, print them out on any sticker paper (I prefer matte white), and then cut them out with scissors or a cutting machine.

I also said this in another comment, I’m more than happy to design and mail you (normal letter and stamp mail) some custom labels if you have a kit you’d like them for! I enjoy the process and it’s pretty easy for me to make 🥹💗
