Striker Jozef Kovačič, who made an indelible mark on the history of Pilsen football, has gone to football heaven. His heart suddenly stopped beating on the last Saturday in May at the age of 65. He played more than two hundred matches for Škoda Plzeň, in which he scored 42 goals.
