Pasta San Giorgio’s 🍝

Does anyone else remember Pasta San Giorgio’s, the little Italian restaurant in St George’s Walk? Green frontage and wooden inside. Grew up in the 90s and early 00s going here for family meals and celebrations and I think this is where I discovered my life long love for pasta.

Fabulous little place, so sad that it was forced to close down so many years before any demolition work actually commenced (which is now stalled, what a total shit show).

It used to be our go-to birthday restaurant too, there was this lovely big dude that worked there, really friendly and always happy to see you, we were pleased for him when we saw him working at another restaurant after it closed down.

That was Miguel, a great guy who moved to a restaurant in Caterham for a while… had some great meals in PSG’s, my favourite was spaghetti pescatore al cartoccio

PSG is the reason why quattro formaggi is one of my all-time favourite pasta dishes 👌🏻

Yes! My grandparents used to love that place. Enjoyed many lunches there with them.
