International Friendly Post Match?

Weird friendly. The World Cup is some load of bollox if Ireland goes out and beats these and Canada next week. Slight forgiving nature in me for the performance. But.......BUT these lads were poor. How are we not hammering them? Cut them open twice in the first ten minutes.

I liked Jaden's cameo as well so I'm not interested in comparing them 😅

But I don't see how you can look at what Jack was doing in possession, making runs, pressing off the ball & just hyper focus on the few times he got isolated. Most of our threat came either directly from him or in the build up

He stopped making runs, the runs he did make he was slow and outpaced by their right sided center half, the ball bounced off him so much I lost count, the red card was a result of him struggling to get it under control. There was a cross field ball opportunity after his poor corner, and instead of having his arse on the line and helping Scales be an option for a flick on, he made a weird run to where he specifically couldn’t be one. It was among the poorest displays I’ve ever seen from a player in Dublin. I’ll give him the benefit of it being a big occasion.

You lost me at stop making runs, he wouldn't have end up making runs to the right side if he'd stopped it. We can agree to disagree but it's nowhere near one of the poorest performances here man, not even close

Ha! Yes. I’ve etched the intercepted square pass from my memory. A close second.
