Does anyone remember Harmans Water shops in the 1960s... I used to go swimming nearby non the mid 1970s and my friends dad worked for the met office and I recall a swimming club... Then we went Easthampsted shops to get Savaloy & Chips - 10p

Thanks for making these. Seen a few of them pop up on here, great job!

Grew up in Harmans Water in the 80's & 90's - remember the pool well as HW was my primary school. Never got to experience Jacks (I think that was the name of the chippy back then?) for 10p though - I'd have refused to leave the premises!

Haranswater School, went there 1980, also did mile mile award for swimming. The pool was built by Butler or Pontins, cant remember which

Would stand under the centre waiting for the bus from Harmanswater School to home, i leave 15 mins early to catch it, i think 3-305pm (school ending 320pm if i remember) in the early 1980's
