This is such a beautiful series. It deals with everything in it in such a warm, thoughtful, human way. Sad it's almost over.

I wonder why they decided to translate Azuma's "aishiteru" as "you're the best" on Gaga...

Oh wow, I am not there yet, but it’s such a crucial point in the manga.

I have trust issues so is mom actually sick or was she just lonely so she "got better" because the neighbors were planning things with her so she had something to look forward to which actually did make her feel better (not the herbal medicine she gives credit to)?

I think she was probably just feeling lonely and depressed.

❣️😎that doctor did not help at all made it seem like old patients are annoying azuma was clearly irritated while kuji was just recommending another hospital didn’t realize it added to azuma’s irritation that lead to a misunderstanding😉good coaxing from kuji with an onsen trip🧐notice classmate sakutaro while kuji x azuma were hugging at the station she was proly embarrassed😉well thank you editor for than onsen trip when azuma used to be jelly of him😎❣️

Actually in the manga the whole doctor situation is in my opinion a story element that highlights again that they come from a quite different social-economic background - while Kuji‘s farther had even a caretaker, that is not what Azuma‘s family could afford and also not „the best doctor“ or at least one that takes Azuma‘s mother serious (medical gaslighting is a thing though). Kuji becomes aware of this and this is in the manga at least the very first time that he visits Azuma‘s less luxurious apartment and sits on the folding chair. He always has been supportive to Azuma by actions like lending his car to him, but now he understood that he has to be even more sensitive also in that matter. It’s such beautiful character growth and relationship development quietly shown through story telling and that’s why I also recommend everyone to read the mang (while I also love the series).

I like how they give each other space but also seem to know when to squeeze in. This whole show is like a hug, I don't want it to end next week!
