I am not a huge fan of Boston Blue. This OP needs to go back to school though. I have a headache from reading that.

Danny was spoiled and privileged in Blue Bloods. Theres no way he would have gotten away with as much as he did if he wasnt a Reagan. And to Boston Blues credit, they acknowledged that he was too angry in the beginning and has mellowed out as he got older.

This is not an airport; there is no need to announce your departure.

And you felt it necessary to post this? Well then, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

EDIT: You created this account, which is now only 45 minutes old, just to post this? What's next, a post with an awful t-shirt and a link to a scam site?

Classic Blue Bloods redditor. Drive by post dumping on the show.

Always amazed me people would take the time to post how they hated Blue Bloods. Carrying on the tradition to Boston Blue.

When someone posts how much they hate a show or movie, especially in a subreddit for that show or movie, I'm tempted to tell them (and have), "Nobody's forcing you to watch." But inevitably, they or someone else will have a problem with that and will say something like, "Let [me/them] express an opinion." Am I wrong, though? Why make yourself watch something you don't like just to complain about it?

For me, it is a different show completely. If you like it, awesome. I tried 8 episodes altogether and it just didn’t work for me. It may for others.

Keeps coming up in my feed. I haven’t even been on the Blue Bloods sub in a while. Maybe I will give Boston one more shot.

I didn't hate Blue Bloods I got tired of it. Just like I'm tired of all the Chicago shows except for med. I like Boston Blue but eventually after so many sesons I'll get tired of that. Sometimes you just get tired of a show doesn't mean you hate it.

Right? Why go to the trouble of creating an account just to embarrass themselves with awful spelling & grammar?

I like the show what I've seen. I'm catching up on dvr episodes I have. Yes its very different than Blue Bloods but still very entertaining. I like that they finally paired Danny with Baez but I wish she was with him there not long distance. Before the end of Blue Bloods I was hoping they would get together there. I'm still on the fence about the recasting of Danny's son but maybe it will grow on me.

I love the new Sean. There is no way the old Sean fit into this role. I am a large person my self but they would have to had done an entire story line about the old Sean losing at least a hundred pounds when he decided to go into the police force.

Problem is. he doesn't have the nuances that the original had. The unrealistic part is having 2 rookies being partners. JMO

Yeah so we can look over the unlikelihood of two police commissioners in a family and a DA but we draw the line at two rookies driving together.

What nuances? They didn’t even show the old Sean very often. He was just basically at the dinner scenes. You just awkwardly saw him gaining more and more weight over the years.

Love Blue Bloods. Part of what made that show great was all the auxiliary characters like Maria, Sid, Garrett, Baker, Janko and Anthony etc. Boston Blue doesn’t have great auxiliary characters. Danny isn’t enough to carry this franchise alone. I gave it a chance and maybe it’ll get better, but not a fan of Boston Blue.

I Agree, Blue Bloods was great with the multiple story lines between the different family members & Auxiliary Characters. I am not putting much stock into Boston Blue since I don't expect it to survive 3 seasons before it's canceled. Danny wasn't the reason Blue Bloods was such a success, but part of the big Reagan presence. Season one was a hit because fans hoped for a continuation of Blue Bloods, but that's not the case.

A good case for the Boston PD would be to find out who stole the punctuation keys off your keyboard.

Agree with OP. Love Danny.( love Donnie.) If your gonna cancel BB's, why cobble together a weak, woke imitation, albeit in a different city?

This sentiment is ridiculous. In order to somehow "stay loyal" to one show, you're going to forego another?

CBS died 5/22/26 rest with the Pedo

I care, I hate what they did to BB and it's cool to see like minded people. So thanks!

Agree, embarrassing to see how they have given Blue Bloods such a Black Eye. Boston Blue is so hokey.

snow is pretty fun, you can blow it too, if you want but has a different meaning then.

Boston Blue is a soap opera. It’s a shame when the most interesting thing about the show is the changes to Danny’s hair each episode … I watch it just to marvel at the way so-called ‘police drama’ can become such drivel.
