Fit Check Are big boobs a problem??

I have three different carriers I have tried with my baby. When he was much younger I tried the soft rap but it felt like it was squishing him and it made me really nervous that I wasn’t wearing it right. I watched videos, asked friends etc. and it just never felt comfortable. It might now that he is older. I have two structured carriers that he can last in for about 10 minutes before the screaming ensues and he’s scraping his face back-and-forth across my chest, of course facing my body. The momcozy, and the Infantino. All gifts, I can’t afford these crazy expensive carriers. I wish. Anyway, I’ll attach a picture but when he’s in this carrier it’s like he’s trying to push away from me and can’t relax down, then when he does his face is against my chest and he doesn’t like to turn it to either side. I have rather large boobs and I’m wondering if it’s just super uncomfortable for him to be squished against my body like that. I’ve tried adjusting it every possible way. In the Infantino (grey with turquoise), it just feels like his head is totally unsupported and he won’t rest it against my chest. Pretty much the same thing with the mom cozy (navy blue with constellations) not to mention it’s the most god-awful thing to try to get on anyway. Out of the two I think I like the Infantino better and I think so does he. HELP

I haven’t read every comment so this may have been covered already but you have some neck creep. Try positioning the shoulder straps on your shoulders (away from your neck). For x-back carriers, pull DOWN your back before buckling

It has not been addressed, thank you! Yeah I really hate the X straps honestly

So I do this when I put it on, but they always creep back up. Any tips?

When you pull the strap DOWN your back, you want to pull it tight. Once you clip it, you should only need minor tightness adjustments

I do that and it feels good, then starts to slide to the point that I need to unclip and readjust around the 30 min mark. I just learned recently what a big difference it makes to get the slack out of the seat, so that's definitely helping. Now I'm wondering if part of the issue is where the side clips are laying. Should they go under the boobs or across them?

Lift UP on baby’s butt then adjust the straps to remove the slack.

The answer to your question will depend on the carrier and your body - post a fit check!
