Meta Advice.

I’ve been working at a used car dealership and currently make $1,800 every two weeks. Last month, I sold 17 cars.
We’re only on the second day of June, and I’ve already sold 3 cars this month. At this point, I genuinely feel like I’m being underpaid for the value I’m bringing to the dealership. I’m not trying to sound cocky or arrogant, but I know I’m an asset to the team and my numbers back that up. For those of you who work in the car sales industry, what would be a fair pay structure to ask for? Should I be looking for a set commission per car, a percentage of the gross profit, or a higher base salary plus commission? I’m trying to figure out what someone producing these kinds of numbers should realistically be earning. Any advice from experienced salespeople or dealership managers would be appreciated. I just want to make sure I’m being compensated fairly for the results I’m bringing in.
