Half your issues seem to be you don't grasp 2 things.

It's an anime about a guy who poisons himself to get inhumanely strong, he just fought a waterbender, and obviously the sound guy is going to be just as absurd.

And the second is that sound and vibration are intrinsically linked, and all your complaints make zero sense when you remember that.

As for the 'thoughts' again, you have no problem assuming a Sound Master could use suggestion, but when that suggestion manifests in negative thoughts when he is shown quite clearly to be trying to make people kill themselves and use literal 'cutting words' you have a problem.

Your issue is that you do not understand what suspension of disbelief is. I can accept the whole bloodline thing because that's what the narrative is about. However, Naruko breaks that logic.

"The water master controls water" makes sense even if is nonsense. It is only logical for the water character to use water, arguing against it is just as ridiculous. "The sound master amplifies negative thoughts and cause hallucinations" is not logical, there is a fundamental gap between "sound" and "thoughts", that is why I said it would make sense if he was using a sound frequency to make people suggestive. But that is not the case. The uncle had a one second doubt and somehow he could overwrite his entire mind. How? It just doesn't track, and thus the disbelief sets in.

You do understand every time you are talking about it you are completely removing the part where he is using sound and a state of suggestion to control the other person, and then just saying he controls thoughts, right?

Like you are specifically ignoring the part that you said you could buy, to complain that you cannot buy it. The thoughts are relevant because that is clearly adding in the susceptibility to his suggestion. The uncle thought for a second she could go, he mind controlled him, Shiori struggles with self doubt and self worth so she was susceptible to his control and suggestive whispers until she broke out of it.

You are literally just flying over the part that explains what you want and just pretending it doesn't exist to complain.

You are the one that is ignoring the fact that he is not using suggestion, he doesn't say anything to the person he is controlling. They specifically say he amplifies negative thoughts. For the uncle, he thought for a second about getting rid of the niece, and that was enough for the sound master to completely override his mind. How does he even knew that the uncle would have that minute of dark thoughts? How does he amplify only negative thoughts? How does sound create a golem?

The fact that these questions pop up but we didn't ask the same about Gero and Water Master is exactly the issue. If you don't understand that, then there is nothing else to talk about.

He's a sound master, he is using sound to manipulate them. Again, the thing you said you could buy without any problem.

The Uncle had the thought, so he was susceptible. The kids are panicking about the legend of Chaldri or however it was spelled, so they're susceptible to trying to sacrifice one of them. Shiori is filled with self doubt and low esteem so she was susceptible to nearly killing herself. etc etc etc.

At least you finally asked about the Golem, which is what you should be complaining about. But also Sound, vibration, binding things together, it's well enough within the realm of possibility. Just like how the patterns on the masks and eyes are actual patterns you get when you have sand vibrating to certain frequencies.

You should be asking the same about Gero and the Water Master, but you aren't. There's no reason any of this is more or less believable than someone generating and controlling water. The only reason you think that is because that is a more common ability. It is still equally as absurd.
