It's nice that the characters get involved in more than one thing, or are otherwise connected to other groups of characters. Like sleepy girl Riko being Wako's sister.

Her name is Riko Izumi, which is also Wako's name

It was also shown in episode 3 when she fall down the stairs and her life flash before her.

That’s what I love about the characters in City. There’s so many different dynamics between the same characters to the point that you could make a whole diagram tying everything together.

The Makabe family and Adatara family are the two families featured a lot in this series.

Another Makabe is Tatewaku, who is in the soccer team, as well as in the same high school as Izumi's little sister. He's also in the quiz show in the post-credits, where he "steals" pill bugs from Nagumo.

yeah, it's taking a while for me to nail down exactly who each of these characters are and how they relate to each other, but i guess that's what happens when you make an entire city the cast of characters

Part of it might be that when she's with Ecchan, she's usually in her school uniform, but when she's at the shop she's usually not.

Yeah the simple artstyle is cute but its drawback is a lot of characters arent super detailed so its easy to confuse them

To me, that was something that I was aware of by the end of the first episode (as most of the episode focused on the restaurant, the family who runs it, and its workers).
