The Ottoman and Otto-man pun is more than enough reason for me to watch this show! HAHAHA

i was surprised they went with the cross-language pun

for those not aware, otto is the kanji for husband (夫), which is one reason why Kanshi was confused at first why the show wasn't popular with dads

And the symbol for Ottoman, which is on front of his element is the also the Kanji for husband, 夫.

From what I've seen in a lot of school anime, I assume that a lot of Japanese kids learn English, so maybe it shouldn't be that surprising, but I don't know how many of them have even heard of an ottoman before.

Heck, I don't know how many kids in the USA even know what an ottoman is. It's not a piece of furniture that's used much here.

Barenaked Ladies had a whole song about them....but that was back in the 90s when that stuff was affordable.

Just take a small cardboard box or overturned milk crate and put an old pillow on it. Instant ottoman.

Honestly I feel disappointed I didn't see it coming from the name alone lol.
