Considering WCU
Hello! My daughter is considering attending WCU in the fall. On paper the school looks great and more importantly they offer the exact program she is looking for. I’m am a little worried about her feeling secluded, we live in a large city in Florida and not sure how she’ll acclimate to a small town feel. We are going to see the campus this weekend but any feedback both good and bad would be appreciated.

Hello!! We are from Seminole County. My daughter is so busy that she doesn’t have time to miss Target, the mall and Marshall’s. My daughter is a freshman at Western this year. She loves it!!!The school has so many activities that keep them beyond busy. My daughter has experienced more activities and experiences than her friends at other Universities. I can’t say enough good things about Western!!! This is my youngest child so we have been through a college experience with another child. Western knocks it out of the Park!!! A friend of hers from high school who is 2 years older than my daughter kept sending her pictures and told her to come check out the campus. She fell in love with it. The food on campus is amazing!!! If your daughter goes there she needs to ask to be in one of “The Rocks” dorms. They are for Freshman and are beautiful. They look like lodges. Feel free to ask any me any questions.
