I know, I know. Another thesis survey. Bear with me for two seconds because this one is different.

Instead of rating statements on a scale from 1 to 7 for 15 minutes, you actually do something:

You get a one-page brief on a realistic Dutch startup opportunity. You decide whether you'd commit your own time and money to building it. Then at the end, you get your Founder Archetype. a personalised profile of how you think under uncertainty and pressure. Think less "fill out this form" and more "let's see how your brain actually works."

The whole thing takes about 5 minutes. Around 50 people have done it so far and most say the archetype result is surprisingly accurate.

It's for my MSc Entrepreneurship thesis at UvA. I'm studying whether AI-generated analysis changes how uncertain and how confident people feel when evaluating a startup. Ethics approved, fully anonymous, no sign-up, no follow-up emails.

You qualify if any of these apply to you:

→ Founder or co-founder of a registered venture (running for 12+ months)

→ On a founding team with equity or real decision-making authority

→ Active in an incubator or accelerator right now

→ In or recently finished a master's or MBA in business, entrepreneurship, or management with at least one hands-on venture project

If you're a business or entrepreneurship student, you almost certainly qualify under the last one.

I’m an international student who will be joining the MSc Business Information Technology (BIT) program at the University of Twente and I’ve already chosen the Data Science & Business specialisation. I’m curious about the career opportunities available after graduation and would love to hear from current students or alumni.

How has the job market been for international graduates from this specialisation? What kinds of roles do people typically get into—Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Business Analyst, BI Consultant, Product Analyst, or something else? How easy is it to find internships and full-time jobs in the Netherlands, and does not speaking Dutch create significant challenges? I’d also be interested in hearing about salary expectations, visa sponsorship opportunities, and whether the courses and projects in this specialisation are valued by employers.

Overall, do you feel this specialisation was worth it, and would you recommend it to an international student looking to build a long-term career in the Netherlands or Europe?

Hello, I have done the IB with physics SL and math AI HL. I applied for Civil engineering bachelors. To meet my math requirements, I did the Wiskunde B exam from CCVX and passed. I uploaded everything to the application form, when I got my conditional back, it says I need to upload my positive results on the CCVX physics exam, however, the admission office only informed me of a math deficiency, which I corrected. Is this a mistake?

Hi everyone! Yesterday during the NK Klonkieball tournament from Klocus, someone probably accidentally took the wrong bag, so I’m spreading the word.

Hello, I'm currently an international student in year 12 and I'm looking into this course and was wondering if anyone who has done this course or is currently enrolled in it could provide any advice relating to the course.

1. Is it very maths/physics centered or does it have a good balance of artistic and technical parts?

2. What potential careers does it exactly prepare you for? I'm interested in comp sci and design which led me to look into this course.

How is the job/internship market like rn for mech Eng students?

I am seeing mixed reviews for opportunities as a mech Eng bachelor at twente.

When compared to Delft and TUe, twente seems to be not as prestigious due it its lower ranking and distance from the Dutch “brain port”

While others say that rankings aren’t of much importance in the Netherlands & any uni within the 4TU alliance is viewed as equal( except for delft)

Is that really true given the current job market? Is twente closer to TUe /delft in terms of reputation/opportunity or is it closer other unis not in the alliance.

If you’ve done or are currently doing a mech Eng/ engineering program at twente, please let me know your opinion.

I’m an international applicant and I might choose to study at twente.

Partly because it’s seems be a lot more affordable compared to other unis like TUe.

Excluding housing, how much does it cost on average to live there? (groceries, eating out & etc)

I’m expecting to be pretty frugal but I do prefer to make my own meals.

A university representative said it could cost as low as 9000 euros per year (750 per month)
Is that true nowadays? Given the recent increase cost of living.

We built a small World Cup 2026 prediction game for our student house and would love feedback

A few of us in our student house made a football prediction game for the 2026 tournament.

Instead of the usual points system, predictions are scored with odds-style values. So picking a heavy favorite gives fewer points than correctly backing an underdog.

The basic idea:

• Earn points based on calculated odds
• Create private leagues with friends/groups
• Keep it free

I've applied a while back for a bsc in technical computer science at UT. About two weeks ago I recieved a demand to pay for my first year on Studielink. I did the steps demanded (who's gonna pay) but I have still not recieved any confirmation of my acceptance. Just wondering if Studielink is that far ahead or there is a problem somewhere. I did call and they said that it would come shortly, and that was just after I got the message on Studielink.

Maybe I am overstressing this but any insight would be greatly appreciated.
