RESOLVED Adjudication In Progress

I was fired from my job on 8/14 due to performance. I filed for unemployment on 8/17 and additional paperwork was requested, which I completed. My claim has been stuck in adjudication since 8/25 with no change. I have since filed 2 weekly claims. May I please have some guidance on how to move this forward?

Have you seen me have this conversation in the posts below you? I would like to do the same thing if you would like to

I have a guide for this conversation because this is by far the most common conversation.

do you kind of know how this conversation works? generally, I provided a guide that structures the conversation because otherwise most often I get a huge amount of backstory but no real details not because people are dumb but because the system is so counterintuitive and opaque that they don't really know what I need to know.

are you cool with doing that? you will have to read the guide and follow it and then respond. both read. and respond accordingly

everyone with this question is asked the same questions. those are those questions below that you see me asking other people. we're going to be doing the same thing

Cool do you need the guide or do you already know what three pieces of information I always ask? if so I would love to get it as soon as you can. I don't see it in the post or this reply

what was the reason that you were fired?

performance related to quota, workmanship, volume? or was there a specific allegation that you didn't do timely follow-ups or something?

I was put on a PIP in May and my employer determined that I had not made enough improvements in 3 months to remain employed at the company. I was pulled into a meeting with HR and my manager and terminated verbally on 8/14.

so that pip and the termination letter that I am assuming that you received specifically says the words performance. or quota. and it does not say that you were insubordinate or did not follow a company policy? is that correct?

if that's the case then we have to wait until after the 10th business day to take another action. that is the minimum time frame that ESD is required to allow the employer to respond from the origination date of the claim, which is why I ask start date of claims

you are not required to dispel anything because if the above is true, there is nothing to dispel. so there is no point in providing additional information. because it wouldn't really help you. they need to prove that you were fired for misconduct and if they can't do that then it'll just sort itself out immediately right?

do you know what is suggested in this case on or after the 10th business day?

I did not receive a termination letter, only a Release document to sign in order to obtain severance. When they initially asked for documentation proving the reason for termination, I provided them copies of the performance emails I received from my manager.

As we are approaching 10 business days since adjudication began, what would you suggest if I still don’t have a decision?

I understand. I just want to be clear for other people reading that when you're fired for performance and there's no allegation of misconduct there's no advantage to doing that. they're not requiring those forms. and there really is no advantage. just the other day somebody claimed that I said the opposite of that so now I have to go about dispelling it constantly

what was the additional paperwork that they requested, that you mentioned in your post that you returned?

I mentioned this upthread, but they requested proof of the reason for termination, and since I didn’t have a formal termination letter I provided copies of the performance emails I received from my manager documenting that I was on a PIP.

was this fact finding called All Separations?

that is a standard questionnaire with the option to attach additional documents at the end. but as you're learning you probably didn't need to do that. but what's done is done and we can't undo it and it sounds like what was submitted doesn't damage your eligibility case anyway. but they do not specifically require those documents. they don't say that in that fact finding. it's just a standard set of questions with an option to attach documents at the end

Understood thank you. Is it 10 business days from the initial claim or since the issue was identified? The claim entered adjudication status on 8/25, but i filed on 8/17. I will wait on next steps from you via dm.
