Hi all,

I’m starting a search for a new apartment and hoping to find something a little different from the larger apartment buildings.

I’m looking for:

• 1 bedroom
• Minneapolis (especially Northeast, Seward, Longfellow, South Minneapolis, or nearby neighborhoods)
• Budget around $1,400–$1,700/month
• Smaller building preferred (duplex, triplex, fourplex, or other small multifamily)
• Lots of natural light
• In-unit laundry preferred
• Quiet building with respectful neighbors
• Has a parking spot

I recently toured a few smaller properties and realized they’re much more my style than large apartment complexes. If anyone knows of upcoming vacancies, local landlords, property managers, or neighborhoods I should be watching closely, I’d appreciate any leads. Looking at a late-July move-in or early-August. 🙏

Drive/Bike around S Mpls (W of Nicollet)...tons of smaller apt bldgs, 4 plex. They have a phone # posted if vacancy. In unit laundry hard to find in these type of rentals.
