Pregnant with twins while ready to pull Fire trigger

Life is full of surprises. I have got everything set up, burned out and decided to going on fire path.

But just find out my pregnancy is twins. 🤣 still digesting the news and thinking what are the changes we need to adapt to as we will be family of 5.

Not sure about the Fire path, but just want to add this: I also have twins, and it was the best thing we've ever done.

To be fair, they're not double the trouble, they're 1.5x. There's a lot of things to optimize and in terms of budgeting, I believe it's better to have Twins than to chain 2 kids, 2 years apart.

It only happens to a very small percentage of people, so enjoy this unique moment!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I panicked a bit to be honest, thinking about what will be needed to provide for twins on top of our daughter who is only 2.5 yo now. I guess you are right, there are synergies and a lot of fun to look forward to.

Great for you! Imagine you had to still work and raising twins, (adding to the one you‘ve already got and probably needs some love as well).

That's the good news! If you're ready to FIRE, it means, you don't have to work any more....but you still can, if you want. That's perfect. I wish you all the best
