OPINION My unpopular opinion
$crim changed his life
Got sober
Changed the trajectory of his whole fucking family line
Inspired and saved countless people
Now the man's making ART, not music. He's elevated himself and doing what HE wants to do, man's not hungry no more and can just chill, but he decides to confront his demons and give us some fucked up emotional trauma shit that you might like or not but helps us to get by and get better, at least for me ( I haven't even listened to the whole 59, but I can wait and I won't cry if I don't like some because guess what I can skip 'em. Tbf I love his music but sometimes I'm in different moods and I can always find a $crim song that fits that mood, that is golden to me!)
Y'all throwing tantrums because it doesn't fit your expectations anymore. Stop acting like this man owes you his pain forever!
YOU DON'T DESERVE HIM!
Just my unpopular opinion, hope some of y'all can vibe with this š
Peace ā¤ļø

Without a shadow of a doubt, I feel exactly the same way. Via Crucis was amazing. I mean all of his solo stuff has gotten increasingly better. And I have been listening to runaway nonstop. Truly, the sky is the limit for him and there is nowhere left but up. He just keeps getting better and better and he is truly an inspiration, it genuinely makes me emotional. To not only get yourself out of the situation that he was in, but thrive like he is now is mind blowing. His music has shown so much range and growth. I love both ruby and scrim, both of their solo stuff fucks. Been a big $uicide boy$ fan since 2016. Much love, always nice to meet other fans.

Nobody ever wants their favorite artist to change. This is especially true of artists like suicide boys. Their music was founded in depression, rage, and a sense of hopelessness that we all felt when web first found it. Scrim and ruby have matured and grown and so many of their fans havenāt and those fans just want to hear the same type of music. Iāve matured beyond the old sound and so have the boys but so many fans are just as hopeless as they were 15 years ago.

I agree with you. Too many crabs in a bucket in this subreddit tbh.
While Iām not a god believing person, I donāt hold criticism towards the boys making references towards religion since I can disregard those parts of the songs and still enjoy the music. But, so many broken souls in here are living vicariously through their old pain and think they are just supposed to be drugged out voodoo dolls that relate to their unresolved issues while they took the steps to better themselves.
But of course itās the internet, since nobody made to stfu enough and they are safe behind their keyboards they will continue to whine.

Love Scrim. Love all of his solo projects. My only wish is that he'd branch out and collab with more artists outside the G59 circle. Maybe that's selfish, but I'd love to hear some mainstream rappers over Scrim production. His beats are honestly some of the best in the game, and hearing different voices and styles on those tracks would be incredible. Either way, I respect that he's making the art he wants to make and evolving as an artist instead of staying in one lane forever.

OP went all in lmao, that being said ⦠I agree with most of what you said except (imo) Scrim is more hungry than ever. His new album proves that. Also he been confronting his demons, not really new. Been since SSATS when he started to get clean after IWTDINO. I also believe everyone is entitled to have their own feels & ātantrumsā as u put it. On the same coin but the other side, i def donāt wanna see ppl bitching about a body of art wrk that they couldnāt possibly come close to creating. I love the new album. Im still finding tracks I fw after listening on repeat for the past day two days. I remember mad haters on ā A man rose..ā when it dropped, for a hot min. Now all the sudden ppl are about it

Alright maybe a little overboard but I agree with the general sentiment. They don't HAVE to do anything and if you don't like the music you can just choose to no longer listen. If somebody doesn't wanna listen to 59 tracks for 3 hours then it's cool, just don't. I don't know why they feel the need to complain to everybody else about it when they can just ... not.
