Tactical Voting

Hello - not interested in any political debates etc, but I’m just trying to understand who the tactical vote would be to stop reform taking control? I’m new to the area and I’m hearing different things from different people…

Neither am I. My family is mixed race.

"I'm not racist, my best friend is black"

I’m Chinese my partner is white and we both care about immigration. Kicking illegals out or immigrants that can’t support themselves shouldn’t be an issue. My family came legally, followed the rules, integrated and contribute to the economy. Why should we support people who do the opposite? We came here for the way of life. Which in the 20 odd years I’ve been here has been slowly eroding away.

It's cute you think they'll care about you being here legally

This.

Actual racists voting for whichever party aligns with them won't care if your family came here 5 years or 50 years ago and whether you integrated or not, they'll say they won and tell you to go back where you came from

Exactly. You know how racists stop and take the time to ask a brown person their immigration status and their religious beliefs before subjecting them to abuse? Me neither.

Yep. I have to explain this shit to way too many people, even family, which is weird since they're all more mixed race than me despite them all turning out white and me looking like my great grandad and being the only brown person in the family.

Tbh it’s worth the risk. Worst comes to worst I’ll just move my family to china. I can work from anywhere.

We’re already considering making the move at some stage anyway. I’ve spent a fair amount of time in shenzhen recently and it’s miles ahead of the UK.

It’s weird that the country I left has now become more attractive than the country I moved to

Worth the risk of increasing hate crimes against your own family because you can flee to another country? Wow you are genuinely a piece of work.

Not just another country, my country of birth, just like every other migrant if things went tits up.

It's worth the risk of your family's welfare and livelihood to get a few illegal immigrants deported? You're deeply unwell, man. This is the exact definition of "I'm protesting the cost of my council tax by setting my house on fire".

Don't try and justify yourself to them, there is absolutely no reasoning with them. They do not know how to have a civilised debate, they only know how to heckle and bully whilst saying that's the exact thing they're against. The fact they can't see their own hypocrisy is crazy, the country will be a complete mess because of these sheep
